The 'homeless' - more like rats than ever before

When the Federal courts closed the state mental institutions (and they were pretty bad), it was assumed that the Federal government would replace them with something better...that didn't happen! They just turned folks out in the hopes that their families would care for them...they did not! The government will provide medication for mental disorders, but many don't take it for a variety of reasons. Regardless of the reason or cause of their problems, it better not cause me ANY problems because I won't put-up with it!

Yup. I’ve had about 4 or 5 total over the years. I only caught one and we had a polite conversation, gone forever.
