Casper Wyo - population is only just over 59K. These are not displaced oil workers.

My niece lives in CO, in a small town (pop 8300) about 3 hours So of Denver. She & hubby is now living in a nice 3-bedroom house for just $700/month - because the owner is terrified that squatters might move in, and the local Volkspolizei have proven they would do nothing.

Heard this on Glen Beck this morning . One more nail in the USA coffin as we march down the highway to becoming a 3rd world country. In my 70 years I never dreamed this would happen I have said many times freedom without personal responsibility becomes anarchy. It is happening all to frequently now.

 

The Civilian Conservation Corps has worked well each time it has been implemented .
You can't force people into it but those that really want to work and have a place to live somewhat securely can have a hand up.
Zoning could also be modified to accommodate tiny homes that are more affordable.

 

We are doing the "Grand Experiment" here, a loca church group has built 30 mini homes in its property to house the homeless, but they must agree to a work assignment with the church, it could be cleaning the road sides, tending food crops form their own foods, or various other civil work projects that just need bodies! It's a two year program, and the first of them are just now moving in! What's crazy, they are doing it with out any state funding or support, completely self funded, hell, it took two years for the state to issue permits, and a few law suits to loosen up the states permit agents to do what was right! The government cannot/refuses to work the problems they created, it's going to take private groups like this small church to make things happen! Time will tell if this will work, but here's hoping!

 

I agree with this, it's time the states and the fed government got off their asses and implemented this again, lord knows there are enough displaced folks to take on lots of needed projects! Identify the skilled among them and get them working and properly fed and tackle big projects like our electrical grid, or failing hydro electric dams, and all the other major issues our government has not addressed!

 

Let me get this straight... So, we get squatters because they do not have work and are left homeless - meaning - no job = no money = no home. Yet, we are allowing millions of illegals into the country and taxpayers are providing these illegals food and shelter.
Furthermore, we are not allowed to protect our property by the use of force - yet - the police will not protect it because they have been ordered not to protect it. So, what exactly is one supposed to do?

How much more insanity are the citizens of this nation supposed to turn their cheek and accept? We pay for law enforcement! We pay for the judicial protection of the law! We pay for the representation that make the laws!

I mean, what the hell do they expect a person to do, stand there and watch them destroy your hard work, your property. I think I am losing my mind... Are they trying to push people to revolt? This is insane. Honestly, absolutely insane! It's insane that it is happening and even more insane that we are expected to accept it. They are placing people in a lose-lose situation. I hope they like the results.

Honestly, I don't know about the rest of you, but I have just about come to the end of my tolerance. Trump better get elected (but I know he won't) or else we're going to see something that will make the French Revolution look like amateur hour.

EDIT: Furthermore, if the economy is so damn good then why are these people all out of work? Maybe the REAL question is why are we expected to accept such obvious lies.

 

One time long ago we had a sheriff whom would give a out-of-towner hobo a free ride to the parish line in the middle of the swamp.
Drop their butts off with swamp on both sides of 90 with instructions, Walk west and don't come back.
Another sheriff at the anus of Louisiana would drag em in ,photograph and fingerprint the poor souls and also required a parish permit to work down there.
At one time a Louisiana sheriff was damn near god!

This is the governments fault with all their freebees which aren't free we taxpayers pay for it. They are homeless because they don't work --simply they don't want to work. we have millions of illegals crossing the boarder in order to work. Look around at who is doing the work-----bricklayers, roofers, construction, landscape etc etc jobs once done by Americans are all done by illegals. The jobs are there these bums don't want to work. The CC worked back in the 30's because Americans wanted to work, they had a work ethic --I doubt no one would do it now. My solution mandatory military service 3 years, military service of old when you were scared shitless of the drill sergeant in basic none of this WOKE bull shit my rant is over

Germany is looking at the same issue set. Too much welfare $$$$ floating around, nobody wants to work for min wage.

 

Go look at colorado springs, tent city along the river and mindless zombies wandering all over. I travel a bit but try to stay out of these areas, springs was the first big tent city i seen firsthand.

Unfortunately that’s the truth. Who else can get away with destroying the environment like these animals? Didn’t Spock say “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.” F these people. (The one exception is the mentally ill)

 

The mentally ill should be in institutions like they used to be receiving medication and medical treatment. But the liberals and the ACLU deemed it against their rights so they dumped them on the street and this is what the result is another plague on normal society. The drunks and drug addicts give them unlimited drugs and alcohol and let them kill themselves which they will ultimately do anyway.

 

Our current government is a lot better at causing problems then fixing them. They have created a nonfunctional class who think its a way of life.
