They more than likely have enough bad feedback to last a lifetime. When your business plan consists of purchasing the cheapest components, building junk and selling it at jacked-up prices, I doubt they care about return customers! Besides, what other options do we have? Sling blades and/or scythes?

Maybe a chance for a "cottage industry" gig making other's junk mowers work too!? Must be a lot of other peeved off customers ripped off by these shysters.

As long as you are able to find, buy or make quality components to replace the junkie sh*t with that will work. Let the pissed-off customers bring you the equipment to be fixed, cause not a lot of people are going to pay an extra $1000 for the same piece of equipment they can get from Rural King, Tractor Supply, etc., or you could buy their worthless broken-down junkie equipment for scrap metal prices and fix it up and under-sell Rural King and Tractor Supply!

Design a snazzy logo, have some stickers, t-shirt and hats made, and you're in business!

My next winter project is the restoration of either a JD 2-bottom breaking plow or a JD 246 2-row planter. The plow would be easier (no moving parts) and the planter would be much harder (lots of moving parts). Hell! I might even do both! Whatever I do, I'm going to have to get a sandblaster because prepping all of that metal by hand is time consuming and tiresome, and might as well build a heated chamber to cure the primer and paint.
I have had both the plow and planter for over 10 years and have used them mostly in my garden during that time. The plow is a heavy hunk of steel and can wait for a few years, but the planter really needs some work if it is to last. There is a hint of fall in the air, so I need to start making plans for this winter.

Spring and Summer sure did fly by this year. And compared to previous years I sure did not get much done this year. Got done what has to be done but not much in the bonus material.

Saw a 'Peanuts' cartoon in the local newspaper yesterday, Charlie Brown complains that summer is almost gone, and Linus replies that summers always fly and winters walk. Linus is sooo wise!
