If you watch the video it's apparent that it wasn't a missile that brought it down. Or most likely not. The fuselage is intact and the pilots are trying to regain some control. The smoke appears to be from one side of the aircraft. Probably a catastrophic engine failure or fire of some kind that rendered the controls inoperable. Of course anything is possible but it has no hallmarks of a missile attack.
