Those executed in the 'Doctor's Trial' Doctors' Trial - Wikipedia., were executed in 1948 at Landsberg Prison Landsberg Prison - Wikipedia; The executions were not public.

According to the website from which the original image (featured in post #53494) was sourced, the individuals in the image, portrayed as being publicly executed by hanging, were German soldiers, and the site of the hanging was Kiev, in 1946: Not Nuremberg in 1948..

The only member of the Nazi media who was executed as a war criminal that I am aware of, was Julius Streicher Julius Streicher - Wikipedia publisher of Der Stürmer. Der Stürmer - Wikipedia He was executed by hanging at Landsberg prison in 1948. Other members of the Nazi media were tried at Nuremberg, but were either acquitted or given custodial sentences.

The meme author needn't have used a sensationalised miscaptioned image to make their point, they had plenty of actual images that they could have used, but chose not to. That has not prevented the deception from becoming a viral internet meme. Truth matters.
