Any one else experiencing a rapid rise in gas prices again. In less than 2 weeks Costco has gone from 3.09 to 3.39 (price today). Gas stations are $3.49--$3.59. What's going on?
Did hear the Saudis were not going to up production since their last cut-they want to keep the price up and stick to Bidumb really us. I'm beating a dead horse but my god we have plenty of oil in the ground -- drill baby drill
I noticed it took a really sharp increase just prior to July 4th but that's normal price gouging at the pump. It went back down a few cents but is still painfully high priced. I don't expect to see fuel prices ever come down again as long as we continue to play middle east games and not drill our own oil.
Both SA and Russia are cutting production by a million barrels a day...EACH! This time crazy Uncle Joe can't raid the SPR, because we don't have one anymore, thanks to him! Glad that I recently bought a gently used Toyota that get lots better mileage than what I was driving.
Maybe the US Government is playing it smart and using up other countries oil and saving ours for later. I think that whenever I need a good laugh.
thing is we have more then enough oil in our own country... AND latest I heard the old empty wells are REFILLING!!! Because oil comes from a microbe NOT dead dinos n such...
IIRC i was paying over 4 bucks a gallon in mid 2008 during the last financial crisis. And that hurt way more than paying 4 bucks a gallon today. That was the summer me and MrsVT took the kids for tour down below the mason-dixon line for 3 weeks in a custom van pulling a pop camper getting 14 mpg at best.
