People who are definitely kid fuckers are saying this film which is based on true events is nothing more than propaganda and q conspiracies. I also heard that hundreds of theaters that originally declined to show "the sound of freedom" are trying to get it or have already gotten it.

I don't know if the producers of this film are sinners or saints. I wasn't aware this was such a big problem (although Amber alerts are crazy frequent these days). I know there's a benefit to awareness. If this movie raises the awareness of tens or hundreds of millions of people around the world, it can't be bad to watch it. Awareness is visceral and primitive. The man or woman on the street says something instead of being quiet watching an "assumed before" parent drag a screaming kid out of a store. I would have thought "Yeah, go tan his ass in private for acting out". Now, I might be motivated to ask a question or two. "Is this your Daddy?", for example. A sheepdog will protect a flock from wolves, but never from army worms destroying good pasture at the roots. If you could teach him that, he'd snuffle along like an armadillo sniffing for them. All day long. Sheepdogs, normal people, patrol cops, nosey neighbors, firefighters, everyone can be benefited by this awareness of the humongous size of these problems. These kids aren't turning up years later... The genetics of some region on earth isn't going through a huge change. A huge population in Asia isn't going to show up with mixed African/European/Hispanic ancestry all of a sudden. Someone is eating these kids, harvesting the parts, or doing a huge slave industry they can't escape from. I don't think you could hide something this big in the free world. Too may squirters through the cracks. My bet is China. Wages have gone up 17x in the last several years for Chinese labor. That may be too expensive for a bunch of godless communists with profit margins and production quotas to keep up.
A little over 20 yrs ago , my daughter was doing a little modeling. She got a chance ,, and went to Milan, Italy for a few months at 18-19 yrs old . I didn't want her to go ,, but , I felt I could not deny her that once in a lifetime opportunity . I sat her down, and drilled into her head what to watch out for ,, don't go anywhere alone ,, and preferably not with less than 3-4 people. Pay attention to her surroundings,, trust no one. When she came home ,, she told me of an opportunity she was offered ,, to go a few cities over for a photo shoot . I don't remember specifics ,, but she listened to my advise, and didn't go. One of the few times that she listened to me , that may have turned out for the better. When she came home ,, she told me , that if I had not given her that speech ,, she believes she would have never returned home . I believe this child trafficking is worse than we truly believe it is ,, and the repercussions for these traffickers ,, is not as brutal as it needs to be.
