Speaking of which I have a new cure for something you haven't even got sick with yet. Pretty cool huh? Sells like hotcakes and fear, to morons who can't even figure out basic biology but want to call themselves doctors.

"Stop using fossil fuels" means stop using synthetic fertilizer which feeds about 90 to 95% of the world.

If these young "global warming believers" really thought global warming was going to destroy society in the next 20 years why are virtually all of them:
    1 living in large cities.
2 stay in college wasting at least several years learning a bunch useless bullshit.
3 they never level the school and just stay there and start working there as a teacher or admin.
    Or
3 they do get a real job, stay in the large city working some corporate ladder, low/no skill, tech support or art job.
4 do nothing, learn nothing prepare nothing for the collapse of society they claim to believe in.

John Kerry questioned by Congress for being a climate hypocrite.
    It's ducking gold.

Kerry is a real piece of shit remember when he testified before Congress about the Vietnam war
"Kerry became the leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War after being discharged, the Post reported. In testimony to Congress, he relayed accounts by his VVAW comrades of having "personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads … razed villages in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan …"

Later, it was shown that many of the stories on which Kerry based this testimony were false, some told by people who had stolen the identities of real GIs,"

I have no respect for this lying liberal shit

Well they don't let the facts get in the way of a good story and why I think crisis actors have been used going back to at least the 1920s.

Fossil fuel consumption is sure to go way down over the next 20 years.

How many people will be left? How many of those will have access? How many of those will be able to afford it?

    Georgia Guidestones, here we come!

There's like a 300 year supply of coal on the US. If people in the US have less access to fossil fuels in 20 years it won't be because there is a lack of it.

Without regulations in house now, building a massive coal burner is a huge task. I'm willing to bet many moth-balled plants have been cannibalized since shutdown.

Gas plants abound and diesel units are all over sitting idle. We might be able to get by since we are net positive export on gas, crude, gasoline, and diesel.

Infrastructure issues and the lack of costly old farts (Like my tired old ass $$$$$$) to maintain stuff might not get things like coal, parts, and skilled labor where it needs to be at the time it needs to be there.

I was iny little range tower all day today and it didn't seem any warmer than any other Eastern North Carolina mid July day. I didn't see the sky falling. It didn't feel hotter today than yesterday, or last year, or any year. It felt like summer.

The latest thing I've heard on the radio, on NPR of course, (Keep your friends close and your enemies closer) was that the "ground temperature in Italy could reach 140 degrees today.".

I listen to their words carefully, so I caught it, but how many people who heard that statement think it's 140 degrees in Italy. It was 94 in the Gobi desert today and only 106 in the Sahara. No report on the ground temperature there.

Beach sand gets very hot, even our white sand. What color is the ground where this "ground temperature" is measured? When did this become a common measurement of temperature? Today?

The whole "hottest year ever, another record high, ground temperature" breathless news reports sound like Chicken Little running in circles screaming "The sky is falling!" to me.

It's July. It feels like July. Sit in some shade, have a cold drink, wave a paper fan like we've been doing around here forever. It'll be really cold in January and somebody will come along to stir up.a panic about that too.

Every time I go into town it is always 5 degrees hot than out here in the country with its trees, grass and no concrete and asphalt. Seems to me It's the over crowded cities that maybe causing the temperature to rise --just a thought

"But, but, but... you can't prove that! You're not a scientist!"

That is the argument you get when you point this out. I saw a series of pictures of a single weather monitoring station that had been located in a rural area when monitoring began and had been relocated so many times over the next century that it was not on top of a building next to an air conditioning unit. The claim is that the station has monitored the temperature in the same location and temperature has increased dramatically. The fact that the station has been relocated onto a rooftop on an apartment building with a black tar roof and several air conditioning units isn't mentioned. NASA says there have been adjustments made to the readings in these cases. Troubling thing to me is that I've seen so much development in my lifetime that I can imagine many of the monitoring locations have had their readings skewed by development. Are they still using the same thermometer since the 1880's? What time of day are the readings taken? Was it cloudy or sunny? Did the volunteer park his hot Model A Ford next to the thermometer and smoke a cigarette before taking the reading? Or was their kid sent out to do the recording? Repeat this at how many stations across the United States? The National Weather Service (NWS) Cooperative Observer Program (COOP) says their network of daily weather observations is taken by more than 8,500 volunteers.

If you took an ocean temperature reading today with a wooden bucket you'd bet laughed at, but that's how they did it 80 years ago. Are more accurate readings really more accurate, or just easier to record and more plentiful?

There's a big difference between 1°C = 1.8°F and 1° Celsius is equivalent to 33.8° Fahrenheit. Both answers are correct, the questions are different. I suspect the guy on the news recently that said "areas of the Southern United States would become uninhabitable" due to rising temperatures has never been to Tampa in the summer. I'll start believing this as soon as banks start refusing to sign off on mortgages for new homes in the South.

Charts look way more impressive if you make them show drastic change, even if it's less than a few degrees Fahrenheit over one hundred-forty years.

Back when my only mode of transportation was my motorcycle,, I encountered global warming ,, when riding into the city at night ,, it got warmer by 10 to 20 degrees ,, and got colder by those same Temps when heading home ,, especiallyinthem winter months . Heading home was usually less bothersome as I had consumed enough liquid " don't give a f'k " , but yes ,, them concrete jungles are the ones that's producing all that terrible heat and nasty air .
It's all nothing but a scam ,, to cause mass hysteria of the populace ,, and separate them from their money . Since the beginning of these climitards ,, with all the money they've pilfered over the years ,, how much global warming have they stopped ?? How many years have they added to the world's existence ?? My bet is ,, not 1 damned day .
