    Hit me up and I will teach you a breathing exercise. Can help relax you as well as energize you. Will add a fighter's trick for "instant" access too. I taught it to a student, who then told me she saw a guy teach it or something like it on Oprah. He charges $40,000!!! Told her she only had to pay me half price.

    I got back late yesterday, and asked my wife this morning if you wanted coffee. She asked for French press. So I made a 4 cup press and we had half blended bulletproof and the other half black.

    Youtube is great for learning stuff. I use it all the time. But I do caution my students that Master You dies not give feedback. So don't do it wrong or dangerously.

    @Meat It's amazing that your blood pressure and resting heart rate are excellent especially since you were going in for that procedure. My BP is usually through the roof when I go to any doctor appointment because I get so anxious and nervous. Ouch! that sounds painful, but I hope it feels much better now that it's drained. You get style points for cauliflower. It's a sign that you're a fighter and survivor!

    Love the pun and thanks for suggesting it. I have some of those exercise bands and I'm actually using one as a trigger for my latest pig trap, but there's another one I can use for a boost!

    Mahalo many times! I really appreciate that. Yeah, covid and hearing stories from people I know really turned up my anxiety / paranoia switch. I'm hoping to turn it down soon.
    Thank you for reminding me to use my legs. Sometimes it's easy to forget with all the different angles. And oh no! I'm so sorry that you threw your back out and I hope that you're starting to feel better. Maybe they need a doggy ramp for stubborn days? Some of my favorite remedies for pain and strain are epsom salt baths with essential oils (peppermint, eucalyptus, and lavender are my favorites), and arnica. I use the arnicare gel (I think they have it at Target) discovered it when I tore my hamstring and popped a ligament, it's also nice when I have a stiff neck. Also, lots of rest.

    "Master You" I haven't heard that before, but I like it. You're right, learning from this master leaves much to be desired. When my friend sent me the links to tai chi and qi gong videos I was thinking of looking fo classes in the area.

    Aloha! I went for my 1 mile walk yesterday and really enjoyed all of the blossoming flowers. I ended up taking the day off from my planned workout and even my daily shimmies, but I still moved around a lot throughout the day. My weight and measurements are the same as they were last week and the good news is that I'm in the "overweight" category now rather than "obese." I'm back on track today. I have been making much healthier food choices than ever, but I wonder if the nuts and seeds are affecting ketosis.
    I've been a little too stuck in my head. Overall, things are good, but I can't seem to turn the "worry switch" off. I've always been a worrier and am trying to work on that.

    Currently reading:

    • "The Case for Keto" by Gary Taubes
    • "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson
    Last night, I started reading "How to Sell a Haunted House" by Grady Hendrix because I love a good horror book, but I decided to shelve it. I think I need to lay off reading about death for awhile. The last few books have been based around death.

    I think my overall theme for the month of May was "cleaning house physically and mentally."
    Healthy eating works a lot better when the kitchen is clean so I've started a nice "close the kitchen for the night" ritual. I light a candle and deep clean, sweep, and mop everything. It's so nice to wake up to a clean house.

    Personal and business taxes are paid. I miss the days when I used to get a tax return, but it's been years now that we've been business owners. "The more you make the more they take."

    This month, I also curated my social circle. There were some friendships and relationships that were becoming a bit toxic and draining and I decided to distance myself from them. I know that it's healthy, but it's still easy for me to worry that I'll regret it.

    I started writing more and it feels so good pick up momentum again.

    I can't believe that June already starts tomorrow!

    How was your May and what are you looking forward to in June?

    I'm not gonna lie. I felt like quitting these last 2 days. I was bored with my meals and felt so unmotivated to do my workouts. I almost skipped today's workout too, but I did it! It was a leg workout and I did my shimmies. I'm so glad that I didn't quit. Now I'm going to get dressed and go for a walk by the ocean cliffs. Goodnight Monkeys. I hope you're all doing well!

    Thanks. Weird part is, gentle exercise until I got sweaty, then stretching helped a little. And gentle tai chi helped the most.
