I’m new here so just thought I’d post an introduction thread. I’ve been into wilderness survival since I was 15. Not exactly an expert but I have mastered a few skills such as the bowdrill. I’m from Canada so that is the type of terrain I am most familiar with.
Welcome aboard! Glad you have found us! We are looking forward to hearing of your experiences and skills!
Welcome to Survivalmonkey!! Look around, ask a question and get comfortable. Looking forward to your posts.

We need more Canadians here in the Monkey tree! Welcome! In fact, a Canuck is my current hero! He showed with no great fanfare how stupid and ridiculous the rules and regulations are for men to compete in women sports by simply saying "I am woman!" He then proceeded to walk away with the weightlifting championship while also setting a new women's record by a 100+ pounds. Plus, he forgot to shave or to change into his drag queen tutu before doing so... Actions speak louder than words. A true hero! LOL!
Anybody on here a fan of survivorman (les stroud). Watching that show back when it was pretty much the only survival show on television is actually what got me into this stuff. A true pioneer in wilderness survival related television programming.
