TN is getting ready to try to ream us with an ungreased stick.
Serial #s on all cases. Your old stuff must be disposed of.

This is going to get ugly if they turn up the heat to quick.

Feel free to send your cases to Texas. I will store them for free. Unless of course the SHTF, and I might have to borrow a few. I don't believe that would ever pass in Texas, and quite frankly I would be shocked if it passed in TN. I thought TN was a little too far south for that nonsense.

That even got laughed out of NY!
what they did shove through was "baliistic fingerprinting" where every new handgun had to send a sample fired projectile to the state before being sold. This was supposed to match the archived projectile to crime scene pick ups. Guess how many matches they've had in the 3 years its been wasting millions of dollars. That's right - zero.

Start googling "coded ammunition"......you'll find the EXACT same bill is being introduced in quite a few States.

My suspicion is whoever the jackasses are that manufacture the equipment are on a lobbyist warpath and can find some liberal twit in any legislature to sponsor it....especially if given the right grease.

Was that right before the boating accident where all your guns fell overboard?

Hm. HOw encode? Stamp? Etch? I can do both. Engraving is a bit harder, but at least the salvaged brass I've been saving up to reload won't get wasted.

This is just one more of the stupid kind of laws that I have absolutely no intention of obeying; period. I am done with this stupid shit. I buy their crap to throw down range but what I got stored will be kept. WHat I reload will be kept. What I build will be kept.

I'm thinking (uh-ohfoosed); the manufacturers will have to etch or maybe laser engrave the cases, and they may just not-produce for registration only states...Anybody see this coming??
    revolvers don't throw their emptiesfoosed(??)...

Good way to nullify that nonsense real quick - the ammo manufacturers DON'T sell to those states engaging in the BS. NO sales to POLICE, security, National Guard, or anyone else! See how long before they overturn the ban/registration/engraving nonsense!
See how fast crime skyrockets when the perps have ammo (from out-of-state sources) and the cops have NONE! [lolol]

    carefull.................

Deer: Deer may be hunted with archery equipment only. Those persons wishing to hunt deer must complete and submit an application and nonrefundable $10 application fee for permit prior to July 4 annually. Applications will not be accepted electronically. Hunters will be required to mark their arrows with the name and address of the hunter or permit number in a permanent manner, possess a hunter safety card or International Bowhunters Education Program card and pass a proficiency test held prior to the hunting season. Deer may be hunted in the general hunting area as well as the deer hunting only area. Deer may be hunted during the archery and general seasons set by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). Bag limits set by TPWD for Williamson County apply. All harvested deer must be taken to Tejas Park, Russell Park or the Lake Georgetown Office for biological sampling. Failure to take deer to the check station will result in the revocation of all permits and charges being filed. Archery hunting for deer is not permitted without a drawn permit.

I see your point Quig, but I will add that this is just for bow hunting in TX. State Parks.

Those of us with private land never step foot in them during any hunting season.
