I don't buy Hershey, but not because of marketing that panders to the blue haired crowd. I only buy Fair Trade certified chocolate. Over half the world's chocolate if farmed and harvested by slaves in Equatorial Africa. Fair Trade certification verifies among other things that slavery was not involved.

Hershey's buys their raw materials without regard to how it was produced. All that matters is that it meets minimum standards at the lowest price. It's not just them it's every big player. I won't support slavery. Period. And sure as hell won't for candy.

 

I've never felt the want or need to proclaim or justify who or what I am to anyone. A person should be measured by their actions and intent.

That said, a man can call himself a woman, live and dress as such, but at the end of the day, "she" will still need a yearly prostate exam.

Just sayin'.

 

I saw this and all I can say is screw Hershey, their 'values', their 'togetherness' and their 'diversity'. I honestly have had enough of this sickening nonsense. I will not purchase any of products ever again. They on the Blacklist just like the NFL, NBA and all the rest.

I was never truly against them until a few years ago, 'live and let live,' but now...I am so sick of their nonsense, and their disgusting lifestyle being shoved in my face constantly from all angles. In truth, this constant harassment does nothing to improve their public opinion, it has hurt them. Plus, it hurts the companies that bend their knee to them. So, screw them and Hershey too.

 

Thinking about this from another angle, they don't call it the "Hershey Highway" for nothing... "Cookies and Cream" is the giveaway.

I stay away from those these days ,, because of their views ,, but Hersheys has made that list this week .
