    An interesting point in favor of this is that our early blooming shrubs (camelias) aren't blooming yet. I typically have flowers at Valentines' Day. I was just wondering why they are set but not blooming a week ago.

    Usually the plants know. Some times they get tricked, but usually not.

    I am very glad the wind yesterday stayed high up. Could hear it roaring up there with the trees down here only swaying now and then. Storms from the Southwest Thursday, but today high 60s after the Thursday storms that cold front out West moves in and we gets daytime 30s and overnight 20s for a couple of days and then boom back into the mid 50s. LOL as the saying goes if you don't like the weather in Southern IL wait 10 minutes and it will change :)

    In So AZ we had rare valley snow, about 1/2" on the ground as of this morning. It won't last.

    last? It's not even March yet. We usually get our worst weather then.
