    All,
I awoke to this article linked below and been feeling sick all morning. Basically, it is from a very reputable journalist and his whistleblower, who obviously had direct knowledge (detail is extensive) or it’s an amazing piece of disinformation. The article is dated 8 February, 4 days ago, but I just heard about it as it is not getting much media coverage, close to none.

Personally, I have always believed it was possible that Putin destroyed his own pipeline even though that sounds horribly naïve. Why? People of great power care not for the cost if it gets them the result they desired, and justification of the cost is irrelevant. Obviously, this includes Americans as well as Russians…unfortunately. Germany had just been convinced to stop the pipeline (N2) and it was obvious the purchase of gas via N1 was in the process of being halted so this gave a bit more weight to the argument Putin destroy it since it was an asset that currently couldn’t be used to sway opinion in the war.

The destruction of these pipelines by America changed the world overnight. You can compare this to FDR’s decision to embargo Japan, putting them into an unattainable position, leading to WW2. Did FDR know what he was doing? Historical documents say he did…but I am not sure Biden knew, but he will or rather…we will.

I do not wish to make this into a long rant or rave so I will simply list some points/thoughts, besides my thoughts are too confused over this new information:
    1. This had to have Presidential approval. No way could these resources, planning and the implementation be brought about by anyone but the Commander-in-Chief.
    2. Is this an Act of War? I certainly believe it could be considered as such. The scary part of this is Russia has yet to reply in kind…but they will.
    3. Is this not an impeachable offense? I believe so. Biden committed, or what could be considered, an Act of War without approval of Congress.
    4. What happens next? Indeed, this is the question…I think Russia will not retaliate until they have defeated Ukraine so it comes down to Russia’s huge Spring offensive and if successful, we will then see some form of payback. Putin definitely will not forget this, how can he? Would we? Rest assure it will be, at least, equal in scope and cost.
To be clear, I admit, I was wrong, horribly wrong. Please, don’t misunderstand, I am glad the pipeline is gone; however, for our country to take such action is unthinkable and sets the precedent for all countries to act in the same manner…pouring gas on fire. This was so irresponsible and dangerous that our Congress must act, but will it? I doubt it and once again, American’s elites won’t suffer but the American people will, and most Americans don’t even see the danger.

Lastly, we all might want to prepare as we have never prepared before. Read it and weep, link below.

"Stuxnet: a malicious computer worm first uncovered in 2010 and thought to have been in development since at least 2005. Stuxnet targets supervisory control and data acquisition systems and is believed to be responsible for causing substantial damage to the nuclear program of Iran."

I wonder if the success of Stuxnet had anything to do with the decision to destroy the N1/2 pipelines? There never has been any hard evidence linking the perpetrators to the attack which would also seem to add weight to this decision. Hubris is dangerous in world affairs and politics.

My one quibble is that it was an American P8 that was over the pipeline at the time of the explosion and it did drop something and then got the hell out of Dodge. Monkeywerks.us did a pretty thorough coverage of the event.

It's certainly not a big quibble, a Norwegian Navy P8 looks, acts, and sounds like an American P8 and who knows, one of the sources might be wrong on this point; however, what it does do is confirm, or at the very least, adds credibility to each other's Intelliengence, that it was detonated by an aircraft. This was in the Swedish and Danish zone so who has permission to fly there?

The thing this reports also explains is why Sweden refused to share its findings of the explosion with anyone, even Germany and would not allow anyone to exam the location. They were in the loop, not completely, but enough.

Granted, any one of the current conspiracy theories is correct.
But for now, we are all crazy .. it was a natural disaster. No one is to blame.

Exactly. The 'Great Game' just took a giant step forward... It's one thing to do something like this to Iran but quite another doing it to Russia. There will be consequences much greater than what Iran can dish out. Truly I am shocked Sweden and Denmark went along with it, even Norway for that matter...guess they got sick of having to chase Russian submarines out of their waters.

@VisuTrac "The historians will figure it out."

I am not so sure...maybe after many, many years and it depends if this leads to war or not and if it does then it will not be for many generations...and that's assuming there is still an America left.

Only now are we truly understanding the consequences of the FDR decision to embargo Japan, which seems like a proper and low-level response to express our discontent and views, but FDR knew. He knew he had painted Japan in a corner where there were only two choices for Japan, stop the war with China, and forget the thousands of Japanese soldiers dead on the battlefield and political upheaval or go to war with the US.

Or, the Lusitania, sunk in 1915 by the Germans. We entered WW1 due to that incident just to find out ~100 years later it was lie and the Germans were telling the truth and correct in their actions as it was loaded to the gills with war materials, specifically shells and powder. It took 100 years and if you ask most people, they will regurgitate the lie they were told in school.

I believe the truth of both these events were only discovered by accident. FDR memos had a small reference in it, overlooked for decades and the manifest for the Lusitania was released by accident or maybe it was because they knew no one would give a damn now...which they don't.

Remember the Maine, Gulf of Tonkin, and those are just our follies.
Historians are a weird bunch. It might be a couple of hundred years after America has come and gone and some historian from Bangalore digs up some archive that was found in a safe found in the rubble of a marble building near where the capital of the United States was thought to be.

We probably won't be privy to the truth.
Hell, what passes as truth today will revert to propaganda and lies tomorrow.

We've got newspeak, 57 genders, 8 planets, and a bunch of idiots running the show.

I wonder what sights our kin will see.

I’m starting to wonder if we are in a post-truth world. If we had video evidence of the whole thing taking place, like from a Wikileaks event, there would be a sizable number of people who would write it off as a Russian trick/disinformation.

@CraftyMofo I'm thinking that the last of truth died in the 80s. But we were never told.

Do you seriously believe that these people give a spit about global warming? No, absolutely not.

Impeachment is harder than we think as we didn't have enough control until recently and we STILL don't have enough control to impeach him, not in the House or Senate, it would simply be a waste of time. As far Harris then being in charge...sigh...yes, damn if we do and damn if we don't so in that regard you are correct, why even TRY to impeach him. Nevertheless, it is what should happen but reality bites!

@sec_monkey ".. .. if we had blown up da pipelines vald would have declared war by now .. .."
Nonsense! First, there is no evidence, none that we indeed blew up the pipeline. The Swedes won't even let the Germans inspect the damage. Furthermore, does the Russians want another 'real' war while they got their hands full with Ukraine? A war with the US would mean a war with all of NATO and they certainly can win a war with NATO, right? No and no. Putin himself said he can't win against NATO and certainly can't win if all his troops are in Ukraine...we'd obviously go through the Baltics and be in Moscow in time for tea... Putin won't declare war in this manner but instead will do exactly what we did and hit us where it hurts yet cannot be confirmed...unless Taiwan kicks off and even then that's a big maybe.

".. .. do ya really tink da guy dat wuz against da abbottabad raid n would not shoot down da balloon fer days n days would ever order a mil op like dat?? .. ."
Yes. Why? Because of a number of reasons...
    1) First, the Russians cannot confirm who really did it, not a showstopper but declaring war on the USA is nothing like the bullshit show they are in now.
    2) They cannot risk war with the US at this time
    3) They certain cannot risk war on their own against NATO which attack the US automatically draws in NATO.
    4) The money trough is open, and the elites are making money hand over fist - meaning - the Ukraine war but in order to keep fighting they need assistance from not only the US but NATO especially Germany and they have been difficult because of the pipelines. No pipelines = no gas = Germany no longer has a reason to be difficult. $$$$ it's always about the money...and its not even accountable, it doesn't get better than this.
    5) China probably pushed Biden to do it. This is just a guess, but it makes sense. Biden is weak but also owned by China. China wants Taiwan while NATO and especially the US is tied up in Ukraine so if China does invade Taiwan - well - the enemy of my enemy and now we have two fronts for the US to fight instead of one.
    6) The balloon belonged to China and he couldn't shoot it down until they finished their intel gathering and they allowed it.

Russia cannot win against the USA in a straight up fight but neither can they use nukes due to mutual destruction so it is laughable to think Russia would declare war on us. Putin, unlike Biden, is not a fool. What Putin will do is hurt us, equally or more, that's for certain. Why hasn't he done so is because he has got to wrap up Ukraine first and he will do so this Spring/Summer by giving it everything they got...and perhaps he knows if indeed China will invade or not this Spring/Summer.

Personally, I think they will invade. Why? Because they own Biden. However, I think China is also seeing the handwriting on the wall in that Biden star's is fading so they are hedging their bets. Biden will NOT assist Taiwan if he remains in power and can stop it but just in case.... Taiwan is the lynchpin, the key for China they must have it for their future plans. I'm convince the balloons are all about Taiwan.
