Pretty sure that even if they tried, it would get tied up so quickly in court, that nothing would ever come of it.

 

Try and convince all the resturants that they can't use gas.
Oh how about manufacturing plants and warehouses that heat their buildings with gas.
How about cremation services?

Make the above go electric only.
They'll start burning the politicians.
Actually, they'll probably carve out an industrial exception.

 

It's all about power, controlling the population. They want to ban gas and wood burning, to get us all dependant on the Grid. Problem is, the more stress they put on our old fragile grid, the more breakdowns will happen, the more brown-outs. Our grid infrasttucture simply isn't up to it. But when did that ever stop them?

 

That's what they do. They will leak an idea and if both sides meme and mock the shit out of that idea they come out several days later like "we would never do that".

 

It's not just the appliance , think LPG is restricted and NG is turned off .

The natural gas infrastructure is setup where it will continue to run for days possibly weeks with intermittent or isolated power.

So now that they have been relentlessly mocked by both sides, even by their own allies. Next step is is to push it down to local tyrants, such as get more municipalities to block construction of new buildings with gas service like California has already done.
Also invent new government regulations for indoor air quality or something which will add more cost to gas appliances and eliminate simple cheap units. Under the guise of "its for your own good".

There's a old saying. Some like "tyrants will demand a necessity until it becomes the common man's creed".

You're behind the times ,, wood burning stoves and heating is going to be outlawed as well . Commifornia has already started issuing bans on fireplaces because of the air quality and pollution . You're going electric wether you like it or not .

Do you think that the life-time bureaucrats at the EPA ran this, or anything for that matter, by the White House before they released it? NOI! They don't care who the temporary occupant of the White House is, or any of those "elected" Congress critters either! They are tireless toilers for the public good and are not about to let public opinion get in their way! My guess is that some low-level official made the mistake of releasing this prematurely. In the future, they will slip this into a defense spending bill or something that restricts/bans gas appliances in public and section 8 housing and encourage state and local governments to restrict/ban new hook-ups. Also, forcing prices up will cause many people to begin moving to all electric appliances.

 

All electric is fine and dandy.... til the hurricane hits and power is down for days or weeks. Or the major blizzard strikes!

 

It doesn't hurt at all to tell these elected thief's to F'k off.
