How do you cook your bacon and store the fat

That special ingredient in Momma's good cooking isn't LOVE, it's BACON GREASE!

 

I work at Rural King! It is a Prepper's wet dream! We have chainsaws, generators, tarps, seed, plants, feed, guns, ammo, tools, paint, hardware, plumbing, hunting and fishing gear, automotive fluid and batteries, fertilizer and chemicals, tractors, 3-point equipment, chicks and rabbits, clothing and footwear, fencing, food, etc. What we don't have I can get a next-door supermarket, gas station and Lowe's. I also get a 15% employee discount!

 

I would think Tractor Supply Store should carry it.

 

RURAL KING IS WAAAAY BETTER!!! I went in the local Tractor Supply a few times looking for something that Rural King didn't have in stock, I didn't find it, but I noticed that Rural King had more people in line for popcorn than TS had in the entire store!

 

Better go before you leave home!

 

No Rural King here in sunny North Florida.

 

The closest to you would be in Ocala, FL and there is one in Dothan, AL. They are trying to fill in the big empty spots on the map, but it is gonna take some time. If I were in charge, and I'm certainly not, I would try to cover most of the southeast within the next 10-12 years.

 

I found pepper bacon and it's fat to have several qualities
1. it tastes much better.
2. the fat stores well.
3. ants hate it.
4. once you've had it, there's no going back.
I cook with it
The other day I cooked and cut up the pepper bacon finely and added it to my pancakes and it was heaven.
