Nothing happy about it. I am ashamed, even unable to look any of the Founders in the eye over this. Voting was only ONE way they gave us to turn out a treasonous government and yet we still just sit on our thumbs pretending it's going to change with just one more election.

 

Going in with guns and grenades is not the only way besides a national election. BUT.....stopping the slide and acceleration of that slide by simply relying on a national vote has not worked since 1933 and amounts to more just playing swap with our thumbs. There are laws still in place at both state and federal level to end this mess but they have to be enforced and harshly. If we don't then force becomes the only option left or just bow to receive even heavier chains. My own personal opinion is there isn't enough willpower on the right to get it done. Yes I know the slide started long before FDR but that was the first attempt to speed up adoption of socialism. Lots of one step forward, two steps back by the right and the far left just keeps right on stretching out their lead.

 

It would seem that the Federal parliamentary Republican Party is only just facilitating that lead, by their internal bickering and self serving power plays....not helped, it has to be said, by Donald and his gormless MAGA radical right wing base. The Tea Party Republicans are looking rather reasonable by comparison.

 

Had the British won in the Revolutionary War, our Founding Fathers would similarly be called "Terrorists" and "Insurrectionists".
