After the FTX Fiasco, I can think of NOTHING more STUPID, IDIOTIC, or any other lack of intelligence that his New “ Baseball Card” NTF… swindle… just another way to separate loosers from their money….

Good to see you well enough to Sally forth to SM.

More than just a grift to seperate fools from their money, he has invited further (civil) litigation against himself..given that using a number of the images would be copyright violations of other entity's intellectual property. He may actually spend more in legal fees and damages than he might have made from his sale of the Trumpoid NFTs

I tried to figure out what the deal was with NFTs.
There is a lot of money to be made with those.
I just couldn't figure it out.
Now we see that some of those same people lost a shit ton of money as well.

Trump may have unlocked a new level of trolling. Where he trolls people to illicit this exact reaction we are seeing right here and makes money.

I'm really not up to speed on NTF ---they are selling Trump images as collectables and gullible people are buying them up for speculation purposes. Is this any different than WDW selling limited edition plastic Star Wars popcorn buckets and people are buying them up and selling them on eBay for 3 times what they paid for them. help me out here

And if people are dumb enough to fall for these idiotic things so be it -- NFT , pet rocks, WDW popcorn buckets, etc ---I wish I came up with something people would rush to buy that is worthless and makes me a lot of money. You can bad mouth me all you want as I go to the bank.

Unlike the Chia pet and Pet Rock, Trumps NFT’s have sold out. Now they either disappear into oblivion or become collectors items.

Trump may be craftier than the "NeverTrumpers" (including here) think, as those silly things skyrocket in value, and he makes bank on them.

Is Trump selling the NFTs himself or did he sell the rights to another individual/entity? If the first, then he's not as smart as I thought he was, and it could be a scam! However, if it's the later, he's the smart businessman that I took him to be, as he makes money regardless of sales! I will not be purchasing ANY NFTs, but a gold or silver coin with Trump's image on them is another matter entirely, mostly because they have REAL value...and I voted for Trump...twice...and may do so again!
Remember, that a lot of people bought pet rocks, mood rings, crystals, chia pets, etc. and will buy similar items in the future. I bet that all of y'all have a drawer or box full of those nick-nacks.

an NFT is an acronym for Non-Fungible Token. It's basically a digital deed that there can only be one of thus insuring uniqueness.
this digital deed may have some limitations but those are spelled out in the 'Contract'.
The deed can represent other digital assets or could be tied to a physical asset. But typically in it's current form it represents ownership in a digital asset that can be bought/sold/speculated on.

You want to own the right to the very first tweet? Yeah, you can own it but what the hell you gonna do with it.

To me they seem like a speculative play for those with too much money that they don't know what to do with at this time.

Anyway, if you want to start down that rabbit hole ... you can start here.

    Non-fungible token - Wikipedia

EDIT: For me, I looked at it, tried to understand it's current use case and said, Nope, I'm going to lose money in this for sure. And kept on walking.

To me, NFT's and even cryptocurrency are just foolishness. You're basically betting on whether some other fool will believe that your worthless bits and bytes are really NOT worthless, and will be willing to pay for them.
At least, with a pet rock, you had a ROCK you could hold in your hand. Or throw at someone!

It is touching that some folk on the right, and particularly some folk here think that DJT is some kind of genius 4 dimensional chess player of the business world...he is not: judging from the businesses and enterprise projects that he has ruined or destroyed, anybody investing in him may think twice. He is doing wonders in boosting the legal defence industry by pursuing meritless, frivolous, vexatious lawsuits, and of course promoting MAGA1 (Making Attorneys Get Attorneys). Some of Donald's attorneys face professional sanctions (loss of license to practice / disbarment) and some face likely civil and / or criminal prosecution, while some attorneys have been stiffed by DJT for their fees. Donald Trump's long history of getting sued by his own lawyers

The build up to DJT's 'BIG' announcement and the fanfare and is less about trolling libs, than securing narcissistic supply, The Concept of Narcissistic Supply "better than Lincoln...better than Washington" if anything he's just carny barking his MAGA marks, with a big clickbait fanfare, taboola style.

The only reaction DJT is trying for is to attract marks to buy his crappy worthless DJT vanity trading cards. He may also attract lawsuits for copyright infringements...to add to his collection.

DJT only has to be craftier than the ever Trumpers that he is grifting on...the never Trumpers are not wasting their FRNs on his silly digital trading cards.
