I saw this thread idea on another forum and thought I'd bring it over here. I asked Santa for a Buck Hunter110 folder with sheath and a pair of Dragon's Breath Immortal Lighters.
I'm getting into rechargeable batteries for immediate lights like the bedside emergency light and the hand held stream light. I know its not much but the price of lithium battery's are getting up there!
I don't have a Christmas list. Just wondering if I have enough X to survive until Y. Some folks X might be food until Y payday.
I probably won’t have much on my list, not much point, because the budget was busted when the Mrs got an early Christmas present three weeks ago when we bought the freeze dryer she has had on her list for several years.
I don't do the Christmas gift thing anymore. Being old, retired on a small limited pension, major health problems, parents and sister (only close family) deceased. And, property tax is due. I'll nuke up a tub of Hormel Compleats Turkey&Dressing and call it done.
Health, happiness, and a quiet day with good food with the Mrs. and the cats. No kids kinda equals no Christmas anymore.
I was blessed to pick up two stripped lowers today after having been number 24,4XX last week. Generally as far as preps or such for us we're sitting pretty good. There's always wants like more fuel, more food, more ammo, etc. but that's a constant. We're as ready as we can be although we're never "finished".
