Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

Thank you for offering up a perfect example of what we are discussing in the "Is this Survival Monkey or ??" thread.
This is the kind of post that the poster should stop and think "hmm, does this really contribute to the conversation? Or is it just thrown out there to stir the pot?"
Self moderation.
I would suggest that as a responsible member of this community you delete this post of your own freewill. That is what we are going for. Members who will self moderate so that staff doesn't have to.

And yes it says of another member but the intent is to apply to any type of possible inflammatory post. You are basically, without naming names, calling some members of the Monkey "fools".
Not threatening, I myself do not even have mod powers, the Emeritus is an honorary only title. Just pointing out that if staff was so inclined your post could justifiably be deleted. But that causes hard feelings and is something that we try to avoid. So therfore the plea to all members to think before you post. And if something is or could be construed to be, inflammatory, degradating, or simply not contributing anything of value to the conversation then as adults we ask that you self moderate.
