We are NOT alone...

Many times people think that we can't change things because the odds are too great against us. What we seem to forget is we are NOT alone! A huge portion of the nation feels as we do. In fact, I believe, a HUGE majority of the nation feels as we do.

I wanted to ensure everyone had a chance to view this video. Nothing fancy, no professional speakers, no waving flags and pounding drums, just a bunch of normal folks having their coffee and are fed up with the Federal government that takes our money (asks for more!), supports the privileged class (career politicians) and is the perfect example of vile corruption in every shape or form via its endless list of do-nothing agencies.

Anyway, take heart, lots of folks feel the same as you.

Yep folks...you are not alone, there are five or so rather overweight folk somewhere in God 'n' Coffee County who share your views of the goddamn Federales, and the notion that the one nation should become 50 nations independent of the US Federal Government). I can see how that would work. China and Russia (and others) would most likely support the God 'n' Coffee revolutionaries...on the basis that a 'Nation divided' is so much easier to deal with than a nation united.

Unfortunately, burning the house down a second time, and expecting that government corruption will not re-emerge is a fool's errand...corruption and power are intertwined in the human condition. The God n Coffee mob's proposal just decentralises the corruption one level further down in the government / political hierarchy, to the States. It's not as if there isn't any Government corruption and administrative abuse at the State level...De Santis's human trafficking stunt, using State tax payers' treasure to transport asylum seekers from a different State (Texas) to Martha's Vineyard for local political capital, is a case in point.

Pray that I am wrong Chell, but I don't know if it would be better for an Aussie to learn Chinese or Indonesian. Two big population countries that would love your natural resources and don't have greens to prevent using them all. Grand dad sold obsolete guns to Britts in WW1 and WW2 to help prevent invasion. Maybe be better off with India, most of the better class speak English in some form or another.

Unfortunately, It's going to be those that are 20-45 right now that will be the next wave in power.
We've put up with the retirees 65-90 running the show. Those of us that are 45-65 allowed it and the youngsters are going to blame us for it.

Yep, our kids and grandkids will be making the decisions for us.
I hope I trained mine well.

@chelloveck Chello, the last time I had to recommend remedial reading...sigh...and now I am forced to recommend a hearing aid but not to worry as age catches up to all of us...but I admit American accents can be difficult so...

"I'm calling on the states to declare their independence from the Department of Energy...ATF...Department of Education..." was basically the wording he used, so not to leave the country but basically ignore those departments/agencies that have no legal basis or authority under our Constitution...which probably accounts for at least half of them. Years ago, I checked, and we had 800+ agencies but I would bet there is more than 1000 now...

Actually, this idea isn't as crazy as it sounds as it would put the Federal government between a rock and a hard place. By ignoring these agencies, the Federals would be forced to go to court which they can't win as proven recently by USSC ruling against the EPA. In legal verbiage, the court stated the EPA did not have the power to enforce or even make their regulations, only the Legislative branch can do this, and by doing so had exceeded their authority. So, if the Feds forced the issue, took it to court, they could indeed bring down the entire house of cards because none of these agencies have legal authority.

On a side point, I would point out that at least 2 of our state's population, California and Texas, exceeds Australia population of 25 million and I would bet by next year Florida will easily equal 25 million. Nevertheless, you are correct in pointing out that 50 independent countries would be problematic and easily gobbled up by some outsider; however, this would never happen as the states would 'Join or Die' together, pretty much what happened a few hundred years ago. They basically wouldn't have choice.

Of course, unknown to you, many states are trying to do this even now. For example, almost all of Eastern Washington state and I think a good portion of Oregon wants to become part of Idaho. Why? Because they are not represented by their state government since the large cities like Seattle and Portland control the vote due to their population and wealth. Also, many of our states have special agreements with other states in medical, education, sports, commerce and other things so much of the groundwork is already laid.

I say all this to only point out that a separation is not as far fetch as it might sound; however, I'm convince should the country split, it will more than likely separate into two nations; however, that is not what these guys are talking about. No, they are specifically talking about pulling the teeth of the Federal government as stated in the 10th Amendment "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively,..." I think you simply misunderstood.

Anyway, best check that hearing aid battery...

If we still have a country! LOL! But, if we do, then rightly so they should take the reins and they certainly will have every right to blame us and rub our nose in it for the mess we have made of it.

However, the pendulum is definitely starting to swing in the right direction again, and I wonder if after seeing all this nonsense if "our kids and grandkids" will be able to rise above it and make it better? Democracy is confusing, messy, and seldom quick to amend mistakes, but it seems to be going in the right direction again. I think it all depends on what happens over the next 10 years...

The way you can tell that there are a lot of people thinking this way is by looking at the rallies. Here is one of Biden's rallies. BTW these are all reporters, the only people he could get to show up.

And here is one of Trumps.

It would seem to me that the people know exactly what they want and that is to be rid of career politicians, vampires, and parasites. People are starting to wake up and in a big way. The only reason anyone would think otherwise is because of fake news reports like these.

Trump holds rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma | CNN Politics
Trump’s Tulsa Rally Drew Sparse Crowd, but It Cost $2.2 Million (Published 2020)

If you notice there is deliberate political bias and framing of the shot of the last row in the upper balcony way at the back to make it appear smaller than it was. Then in the small print at the bottom they put "An attendee sits in the upper section of the Bank of Oklahoma Center prior to Trump's campaign rally on Saturday." Picture wasn't even taken during the rally. Does it make you angry to know that they are lying to you and manipulating us all and that they think we are all idiots?

The huge contrast in rally attendance is why the integrity of the election was rightly questioned and should have been throughly investigated honestly.

The fact that it wasn't investigated at all and even suppressed, while Hillary was publicized and supported for the exact same thing, is even more contrast. Just that this is happening is proof that there are lies and manipulation of the people which is the bigger concern. We are being manipulated but people seem reticent to admit it.

Well, I am convinced the election was stolen and now both parties are covering it up to ensure the populous don't lose faith in the election process and the country for without it - well - not sure what we have but certainly not a democratic republic. Besides, it is over and done and nothing is going to change for to remove a sitting President would be a crisis of such magnitude that, more than likely, would destroy the country.

What I don't understand, concerning Fake News, is they recently convicted Alex Jones of fake news so how can they continue to spew lies and even blatant racism (very good Tucker report recently about MSNBC's white racist rants) without consequences. Perhaps it's just that they haven't been sued yet or perhaps it is something even more sinister, more vile...

Review the legal definitions of defamation, libel and slander....and contrast them with fake news that is not defamatory, libelous and / or slanderous.

Possibly. Yes, I have considered this. However, in many regards the margin seems to be extremely narrow. For example, AJ stating something slanderous hurts the people involved, whereas MSNBC or CNN stating something slanderous hurts an organization, an ethnic group (specifically Caucasians), or even the nation. So much so, that I question if we should even take the AJ verdict as serious or was it simply another ploy to intimidate and hurt him financially knowing full well it will be overturned upon appeal. I am not sure how it rolls in Australia, but this method used greatly in the States today with significant effect. It's wrong but very effective.

All the way down to us dirt people. Even such mild mannered and soft spoken people such as myself have found ourselves drawing back into the shadows a bit, so to speak, in order to avoid penalties for having offended someone's definition of impolite speech. I don't say I feel good about it but having been banned from two sites in the last year I do find myself being more "grayman". Oh yeah, FJB and all he and his cohorts, voters, and financial supporters stand for.....with a rusty and feces smeared chainsaw sideways.

    1) remember obammy removing restrictions on a law passed in the 40s to prevent news stations , etc, from reporting propaganda ??

    2) it doesn't help cases where these people being tried and or sued for cases that leans towards the right , politically ,, seem to end up in front of a left leaning judge .

Our justice system has been politicized . And it has shown without a shadow of a doubt ,, that the left will fight dirty . Take names now ,, because when the right is finally pushed against the wall ,, those leftist will be hiding like a hibernating Cicada ,, buried up for 17 years . No sense in letting them get away with their crimes .

I read a few months back that there was a law on the books preventing the spread of propaganda ,, supposedly passed in the WW11 era ,,, and obama rescinded that law ,, allowing the spread of propaganda .
Someone with more computer knowledge than me may be able to find that info .
