    all i can find locally is constitutional at 20x face or random American Eagles at 32.00 - 34.00 ea. and both are bend over prices.

    I got my pre '64 at 15% and rounds at 24.6. Spot at that time was 21+
    It helps to establish a relationship with the dealer. I use the same guy and always bs with him when I come in. Plus he is very reasonable. Other dealers in the area are a lot higher.

    I've had the same 2 go to dealers since forever.
    both are counting on stock coming in the door as the wholesalers are 3-4 weeks out plus up to 2 weeks for shipping.
    One has an order for 5k generic rounds since mid september and delivery has been pushed out to later this month.

    And he's paying 2.75 over from the wholesaler. So, he's gotta make some juice as well.

    Should be able to get a reasonable quality of silver coins for less than $30 an ounce shipped.
    I also consider 100 a reasonable quanity.

    Last I bought any silver (junk) it was 3% over spot.

    I have a couple of small gold coins - just enough (I hope) to bribe the border guards.
