It seems the tin foil hats are right again. None of this makes sense unless they know all this "green, climate change" crap is nonsense. But if you accept that there is a cabal of powerful globalists that belive it is thier moral duty to "save" the planet then it all makes sense. Destroy the industrial nations. Force people into a subsistence lifestyle. Or completely dependent on the govt teat.
A cabal made up of avowed eugenecists who belive it is imperative to reduce the population and weed out the "usless eaters". An agenda that has been around, envisioned and strove towards for generations.
Thier "utopia" where they are the enlightened ones, foreordained to remake the world in thier image.
And they hide behind a myriad of mirages, an inept president, radical liberalism, a regional "war" that effects every aspect of people's lives around the globe. And don't forget the "global pandemics" that caused and will cause again, massive global upheaval where food and essentials shortages can be blamed on "supply chain" issues. And of course the millions of deaths that are only the beginning. And a convenient smoke screen for thier population reduction plans.
Yep. Those tin foil hatters don't seem so crazy if you put all the pieces together.

Addendum:
Look at Cali and now 2 other states announcing that they will not allow gas powered vehicles after 2033. Several car manufacturers announcing they are cutting back or even ceasing gas powered vehicle production to ramp up the EV production. The war on fossil fuels. Is it all planned? When people can't afford these vehicles and or they cannot travel long distances or afford to when the cost of electricity makes gas prices look like a bargain. Then what choice will they have? Maybe move into the cities where they can access public transportation? The plan to depopulize the rural areas would be accomplished without any need to use physical force.
