In rural Monterey County, California in Lewis Creek where it intersects route 25, east of San Lucas. The property owner used automobiles for erosion control during heavy rains. And then it stopped raining. Go figure.

Farmers around here do that along the river banks to prevent the water from eroding into thier fields. They make excellent hidey holes for big catfish. We noodle them and get some monsters. But every once and a while you come across a smart one that rolls up the windows and locks the doors!
