Brianna Kupfer was stabbed 26 times including 11 in the chest while working in furniture store by deranged killer who strolled in and attacked her at 1 p.m. - but woke LA DA Gascon SUSPENDS criminal proceedings to wait for mental health evaluation
    • Kupfer was working in a furniture store in Los Angeles in January when she was attacked
    • Shawn Laval Smith stabbed her 26 times including in the chest, abdomen, arm and leg
    • The 31-year-old had no connection to Brianna
    • Now, the legal proceedings against him have been halted so he can undergo a psychiatric evaluation
    • It creates the possibility for him to be found not guilty of murder by way of insanity and avoid jail in lieu of a mental health facility
    • Brianna's parents have not yet reacted to the decision by DA Gascon's office

Brianna Kupfer was stabbed 26 times all over her body when she was attacked at random while working in a furniture store in January, her autopsy report has revealed.

Shawn Laval Smith, 31, stabbed her 11 times in the chest, five in her left arm, three in her left leg, and one in her pelvis.

She was also stabbed in her abdomen, right arm and right leg, according to the report obtained by the New York Post.

Despite the brutality of the attack, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon's office has suspended criminal proceedings against Smith so he can undergo a mental health evaluation.

The potential result of that is for him to be found not guilty of the crime by way of insanity, and put in a psychiatric facility rather than in a prison.

Kupfer's parents have not yet reacted to the decision by Gascon's office. They previously blamed woke politicians for their daughter's death.

Smith was a career criminal with dozens of arrest records in multiple states.

He was out on bail at the time of the murder. Smith had previously been arrested and charged with violent crimes in at least three states.

At the time of Kupfer's murder, he was free on a $50,000 bond after allegedly firing a weapon toward an occupied vehicle in Charleston, South Carolina, in November 2019.

An indictment in that case was handed down on March 16, 2020, just before COVID-19 paralyzed the courts, and the docket shows no further action on the case.

In January, Kupfer's father said: 'I blame what's endemic in our society right now, is that everybody seems to be oriented on giving back rights and bestowing favor on people that rob others of their rights.'

The grieving dad said he is not blaming any politicians by name, but he argued that their job is 'to make communities better, to make people care more, not to tear down communities by exposing them to people that are falling out the bottom, that really don't care about other human beings and just think they can do whatever they like in our society.'

Todd Kupfer said he wants his daughter to be remembered 'as a person, a human being and a caring, loving and devoted family member and a great friend and just a rising star.'

The Punishment for that N$^#er needs to match his crime, long and slow until he stops breathing!
The D.A. needs to share in that, a few stabs to the chest with a fillet knife would do wonders at improving his motivations to hold that piece of shit responsible, no psych eval needed!

Seems like he was just pushed around the country, because no one wanted to deal with his criminal ass! Much like troublesome homeless people in California would find themselves on a one-way flight to Guam, back in the day. Got to have a birth certificate or passport, to leave Guam and go back stateside (because of the H-2 construction workers they allow there). Ya think a homeless person has that??
For a few hundred bucks, California could export their troublemakers!

If these stupid democrats make it legal for person to sue a gun manufacter for liability , for an inanimate object ,,,, then it only seems right that a judge , a DA ,, can be held liable for the actions of a living , breathing , thinking , human being , ( I say that last part hesitantly ) ,,,, for their illegal actions .

A fast death is far to good for the many flavors of heinous criminals today.

This one happened a bit North of me two days ago. The news went dark on it almost instantly when the details started emerging. The regional rumor mill though has taken over reporting. Two Kids ages 12 and 13 were playing sniper with a .30 cal air rifle near the small town of Dix. The kids were arrested a few hours after the shootings and a few hours after that released to their mother due to their young ages. Rumor mill also says the States Attorney is now debating what if any charges will be filed. The good news the two victims are going to be OK. Can't speak to accuracy of the rumor mill but then again the accuracy of the media is probably less dependable than the rumor mill :(

You want some irony? You could say that the DA who refused to prosecute should be stabbed to death just like was done to the girl but you could be arrested for saying that. Meanwhile the people who actually do stab someone to death get to run free. There's your woke BS liberal world that people like Chelloveck are pushing.

Even after their guy killed the woman, the cable company kept sending bills....Heartless or so clueless as to be criminal by itself. The linked article showed the CC had ample warning signs.
