Not sure where this should go please move it if needed...

    interesting thought...

the Book says God knows all about us and everything we will do before we even enter the womb... hmmm...

so the person known as Judas Iscariot was known to God before his birth???

IIRC didn't Jesus say to him it would have been better for you had you not been born???

and his fate was pretty nasty as well...

    also,,,

suggest the statement made by Ben Franklin has a ring of truth...

the longer he lived the more he could see Gods hand in things...

thought... so certain politicians and what they would do were KNOW before they entered the womb...

even though they may be considered by us as doing great evil... God is still using them for a purpose???

    Like Judas???

I wonder if they will be told when the time comes it would have been better had you not been born???

Once again, freedom of choice is God given and the choices we make determine who we are and our fate.

In theory God exist in past, present and future and has infinite knowledge of all things in every frame of time. So it would stand to reason that God would know everything about every one and everything at all points in the timeline. While God may know all and what you will and will not choose...... you do not.

We are born Innocent, but with Pre Programming" of both good and bad, and it is up to each of us to choose our own path in this life, we choose to live as good or as evil, that's all our choice! God simply observes and keeps track of your deeds in this life, but allows you to make mistakes, and to good or bad! We also get the benefits of our upbringing and influences in our early life, so that those things all help define who we are!

There are some who are borne pure evil, corrupted before conception, maybe the mother was bad, or the father, maybe both,, but some how everything comes together and one is born absolute evil! History has shown this, all you have to do is look to see, it was obvious to any and all, if only they had looked!

If you understand these concepts then you hold the keys to much understanding.

"I have always known you" - always to God is a very long time. At the minimum it means God knew you before you were born into this world, which means you existed before then.

It means, among many other things, that while your parents made your body God made your soul.

The other implications are staggering and the key to understanding the true nature of this world.

Some breadcrumbs: where then did you exist before birth? if you existed there then how and why did you come here? Why don't you remember that previous existence?

Whether or not you believe in God or not doesn't matter. We are all trapped in the Matrix. If you believe the Bible it is still the same as the Matrix and one day we will leave it. If you think we are in a sim as Elon Musk does, it will also end. If you believe that the universe is made up of light and frequencies it still is the Matrix. This is all a game and all we have to do is play the game or leave the Matrix. If you notice all through out history there are stories of people doing this. Maybe you put a specific religious bent to your beliefs or maybe you are an atheist or scientist who only believes in cold hard facts. Its all the same. Nobody can deny that the spirit exists in all things. Our job is to play the game and/or transcend. This has echoed through out history. You can see it everywhere if you know how to look or are on the right frequency. Video games are a great example. Some people play them. Some people win. Some lose. Some hack the game and become gods... but we are all still in the game.

I'll have to see if I can find it again, I once came across a theory of time/universe/everything that basically said to think of time like a vinyl record, and that our conscious is like the needle, we can only see/know the part we are on and where we have been, even though the whole record has already been made and exists in whole.
They also posited that there might be beings that interacted with, what we call, Time completely differently than we do, and that the concept of Time is just how our primitive monkey brains make sense out of how we interact with our world.
The extra interesting part, was they said that it doesn't negate the idea of free will, because you are the one making all of the choices in your life, you just haven't gotten to them yet.

I heard once some physicists talking about time and they said the future gets less and less accurate the further out you go. After 3 days out it is pretty much impossible to accurately know what is going to happen with any certainty. The interesting part was that they said it also applied equally to the past.

Given that much of the thread (except for the final sentence) deals primarily with Christian Theology...the Faith and Religion Forum would arguably be the best fit. Having said that...the punchline at the very end is clearly a political reference to the present moment, so it could also go into the Politics forum.

Having said that...other candidates for a home would be The Tinfoil Hat Lounge, or the Humor - Jokes - Games and Diversions forum, given that the post is an absurdist examination of the present Presidency, suggesting a preferred outcome consistent with some of the legendary narratives of the Tanakh ( ירמיהו Yirmiyahu Ch1:4-5) and the Christian Bible (Jeremiah 1:4-5) and references to the Gospels of the New Testament concerning Judas Iscariot's relationship with Jesus during the lead up to, and following the Crucifixion.

That is a claim made in Christian apologetics, suggesting that the Christian god is omniscient. You haven't actually cited which particular chapter and verse you are referring to, but given your wording ירמיהו 1:4-5 Yirmiyahu / Jeremiah 1:4-5 I think would be the closest fit.

A reasonable interpretation of these verses: from both sources was that Yahweh was communicating directly with Jeremiah, and that his remarks were pertaining directly to Jeremiah, and no one else. The inference I suppose for Christian theologians is to extrapolate that to all of humanity, not just to some prophet of some relatively obscure bronze age religious sect. The claim to omniscience rests upon a matter of faith in the actual existence of the deity being appealed to. Although many share this belief, many are not convinced that the proposition is true, beyond it being just one story among many, with unfalsifiable fantastic claims.

If one accepts the proposition in Jeremiah 1:4-5, that claim would appear to logically follow, but again, we have to also accept as true, that the god of the bible (Yahweh) is an omni god, and that Yahweh actually exists...again, that is a matter of faith, not evidential fact.

I once had a lady tell me that we all chose our "Lives" while in another dimension. I replied that I am not very smart, but I sure as hell would NOT have chosen my life as I have had to live it. Like most here, I have had to bust my ass for everything I have, and it has been hard as hell. Rich, handsome, and intelligent would have been FAR better! She was insistent and so was I.
