Here i SC $4.49 ethanol regular up 10 cents in the last couple days. No end in sight to this insanity. The village idiot will buy oil from OPEC but won't drill our own oil. Yet he claims the world will end due to global warming BS if we don't get off oil. Makes no sense I guess using magic OPEC oil is ok. Bidumb and his minions are out to destroy this country and they are doing a good job of it.

Diesel here is $6.18 a gallon, Premium is also at $6 with regular and mid-grade gasoline catching up. I fully expect $10 gas before this administration is voted into the dumpster.

You are oh so correct. While the Bidumb illegal regime has put a noose around the neck of our own energy resources China is going balls to the wall building coal powered electric generating plants
"China is planning to build 43 new coal-fired power plants and 18 new blast furnaces — equivalent to adding about 1.5% to its current annual emissions — according to a new report. The new projects were announced in the first half of this year despite the world’s largest polluter pledging to bring its emissions to a peak before 2030, and to make the country carbon neutral by 2060." China lies they will never be carbon neutral and have no plans to be.
"US coal exports to China soared in 2021 Bidumb takes office
The US shipped 15.3mn metric tonnes of coal to China in 2021, up nearly five-fold from 3.1mn ts in 2020, according to shipbroker Banchero Costa."

Bidumb is so concerned about global warming (big lie)- we can't burn our own coal yet under his watch coal exports are up to China Bidumbs chicom buddies are doing just what he is supposedly against. No Bidumb and his puppet masters are lying to us and intentionally destroying the country

Well, all around and in our state capital (and surrounding counties as well) are now over 5.29 per gallon up 30 cents in one freaking day.

Before long, Michiganders are going to be in great shape due to intermittent fasting and walking everywhere.

The stupidity of this makes me wonder about the motive. Everything runs on fossil fuels. Trucks and trains deliver the raw materials and finished products, tractors and farm equipment run on gas and diesel. The equipment used to dig up the rare earth metals to build electric car batteries and solar panels run on diesel. Creating a worldwide energy crisis is insane!

Don't worry, the prices will have to come down to demand destruction.
When people can't afford to buy the stuff, either the manufacturer goes out of business or the prices come down.
Even the speculators can't keep the price of energy high through futures or stock prices. No demand, no profit, no future earnings .. their stock prices go down and so does their bonuses.

Could be an interesting summer/fall/winter coming.

Wonder who is going to blink first.

The next crisis may be that we have dwindling refining capability. The ESG movement is preventing anything new from being built. At some point we’ll have sufficient crude, produced overseas or domestically, with no way to refine enough knto the products we need.

I live on the outskirts of a small fishing town in coastal SC mainly shrimp boats-- used to be 20 or so boats back in the 80's due to shrimp imports undercutting the price a lot of the shrimpers quit. Now we have maybe 8 or 10 boats that work. Talking to a friend who owns a shrimp boat and he has quit until diesel prices come down just can't make any money. Like farmers they are the producers and the price they are getting is nothing--- a buck more(8 dollars a pound) that when fuel prices were low. The middle man is getting all the profit when shrimp is sold for 12 bucks around up north. People don't realize how these fuel prices are shutting down American industry and Bidumb doesn't care ----rant over

Shrimpers down here hold a Buy strait from the Boat market on Saturdays down in one of the smaller coastal towns.
Thinking its Delcambre, I'm sure there's others like Little Calliou or Du large

Yea the same here there was a big push by SCDNR and the shrimping association to buy local but like my friend said the shrimp boat diesels burn a lot of fuel and at over 5 bucks a gallon they burn through a 100 gallons pretty quick. He's just not willing to work for way less that minimum wage --can't say as I blame him I worked on a shrimp boat one year in my younger years --HARD WORK LONG HOURS

Something to keep in mind for the DEF shortage coming up… newer fire trucks are diesels that use DEF too.
But on the bright side big D run cities are usually the ones with newer trucks. We country folk have older trucks before DEF!
