I am going to get a new saw mill in a Month or so and am going to sell my old mill. The old one is in working condition has a 22HP Briggs V Twin Engine with 970 logged hours on it. It will need a oil change, a new drive belt , new plugs, New rubber on the flywheels would not hurt and the pulleys and post sanded off and a good grease job I bought it new in 2012. It is a Hud-Son Oscar 330 Pro with 21 feet of ground track. It will take up to 30" diameter logs. It sat from 2016-to 2020 when I made this video. I have only milled a dozen logs with it since then and it does a fine job. Will include a full case of new woodmizer bands for it and spare belts. Believe a case of bands for it run around $250-$275 now days. Only reason I am getting a new one is I am running into a lot of 32"-36" Logs that I just can't mill with the old one. Well I can but it involves trimming them down with the chainsaw mill and that is way to much like work So I am going to get a Hud-Son Oscar 336. If I list and sell it to a non Monkey I will be $3000 firm on it. For another Monkey I will let it go for $1500. Catch is I WILL NOT SHIP IT. Gotta come pick it up. It will fit in a standard bed Pick up Truck Ground track unbolts into 7' sections. And I can hoist the head up on a truck with a bucket tractor. Hate to get rid of it but truth is when I get the new one, I will never turn the key on this one again Would rather it go to someone that will work it for another 8-10 years which it should do if maintained. And have seen in post that some here have a interest in a good mill.
I would hold it until someone comes and gets it Seriously if someone commits to it I will hold it for them and call it sold. No longer give exact location publicly anymore but here is a ball park Interstate 64 is about 25 miles North of me and Interstate 57 is about 25 miles West of me.
Yes sir ,, I don't blame you ,, I wouldn't give exact locations either ,,, I was just trying to figure driving miles ,,, you're only in the 500 mile range ,, so that's good . I'll send you a PM.
