Cats

Sweet Pea - our high maintenance polydactyl longhair has always had jaw issues. After an initial surgery to remove a lump from under his tongue they found what may be a foreign body jammed in his jaw. It sounds funny, but he needs a cat scan. It's a four hour car ride, but he isn't a singer like some of the other cats.

Thanks guys. Sweet Pea seems to be doing fine. Let me hold him and brush his fur this afternoon without much fuss. Any fuss from a polydactyl cat and you let them go. Too many claws to argue with.

He's gotten in the habit now of hiding on top of the china cabinet where That Woman can't get hold of him to give him his medicine. She knows a trick that's ruined his plans every time. As soon as she opens a can of cat food he jumps down and runs right over to eat. She just grabs him while he's eating and gives him his dropper of medicine. No drama.
