Gas price rise watch

I put ethanol free in it. Plus this week we are going to run it on a little 700 mile trip to visit her family.

 

That's good, but even the ethanol free gas needs to be stabilized if it's gonna be in the tank for a long time. People with some types of hybrid cars and trucks, that rarely use their gasoline engine could be in for a shock someday when it doesn't work.

 

What do you use? I've been using Sta-bil for years and thinking about switching over to Marvel mystery oil

 

Those are plug in hybrids with around 10kwh and bigger batteries. They can go days or weeks without starting the engine. If you want the heater the gasoline engine runs.

 

I use Sta-bil also.

 

Cheapest gas in SW Oregon is $4.49 and has been there around a week. Problem I have is it's a 50 mile round trip to get it.

 

Just a reminder April 15 the oil companies by law have to put a lot less butane in out gasoline. Winter gas can be up to 10% butane. Summer gas is only allowed to be like 2%.
The thing with butane is its kind of a byproduct. They distill a lot more than they can use, even in winter gasoline.

 

Just heard BIdumb will be releasing 1 million gallons of oil from the reserves a day for the next 6 months to lower gas prices. That would be just in time for the mid term elections I hope the sheep won't be fooled by this POS. God only knows what Putin will do in the next 6 months and Bidumb is draining our oil reserves --Another great move by this illegal regime

Oil reserve max capacity 714 million barrel Bidumbs last release dropped it . Current reserve is 571 million barrels Bidumb will release 180 million barrels in 6 months and it won't put a dent in gas prices ===just a political move

 

Just had another thought What will it cost the taxpayer to refill if Bidumb has any intention to do it ---hate to think at 100 bucks a barrel

Just got back from town doing my physical therapy topped off the truck tank OMG gas is up to 4.20 gallon and diesel is $4.99 just last week it was gas was $3.85. Bidumbs big deal open the reserve did absolutely nothing. This price rise will only fuel (not my truck) inflation to go even higher. To say I am PO would be an understatement this clown has got to go the good lord or the devil take him please I don't care which

Canada must tax the you know what out of gas to pay for your "wonderful" healthcare and the rest of Canada's socialist programs. Bidumb tried opening our oil reserves that didn't work now he is talking a gas tax holiday for how long who knows and that will only drop the price by a little. Bidumb the answer is produce more domestic energy this isn't rocket science even as dumb as you are can figure this out.

Unleaded 3.979 (East Chattanooga) 4.39 SE Michigan and Ohio.
Average unleaded 4.259 (mi, ohio, indiana, kentucky, tennessee)
Diesel 5.12 Richmond Ky , 5.65 Knoxville
average 5.40something (mi,oh,in, ky, tn)

 

$4.29/ gal for regular. We won’t even talk about diesel.

 

Last week when I went to town gas was $4.20 -diesel $5.26 got to go to the doc today hate to think how much it has gone up again but will report. President Trump's schtick ---I'll take it any day over what we have now
