Well GiveSendGo was hacked, list of donors provided to CBS who is already salivating over harassing donators. Meanwhile it seems Castro's Love Child's invoking of the Emergencies Act and his declaration that protests are terrorist activities means donating to one makes you a terrorist supporter and subject to having your bank accounts frozen.

Or so I'm reading. Any Canadian peeps have some better insight on this?

IMO it will backfire by driving Canadians to foreign banks and crypto, perhaps even PM's. It's not just the truckers that should be worried, it's anyone that can be subjected to tyranny.

 

OK so the truckers leave Ottawa and go home, then they sit there and deliver NOTHING. No trucks move anywhere.

Or better yet, rolling roadblocks on major highways all across Canada. Small groups of trucks driving 20 mph in all lanes from sea to shining sea and traffic backed up for hundreds of miles...Canada is a big country! Imagin the roadways littered with thousands of cars out of fuel or broken-down, the cities running out of food, factories shutdown! Go ahead make the truckers leave Ottawa...it will be the biggest mistake they have made since electing Trudeau!

Here's an interesting tidbit folks. Buddy of mine got to view a spreadsheet of convoy donors that was momentarily posted on a reddit sub before it was taken down. The list was all of the donors from his province that donated to the convoy. He scrolled through the 1000s of names and was not surprised that there were a large number of South Asian , Chinese, Vietnamese among other ethnic group surnames on that spreadsheet.

For context South Asians comprise a significant % of the truckers in Canada. The Chinese and Vietnamese especially if they are newer Canadians will most likely confirm that having come for totalitarians regimes that maybe they enjoy and want to support the freedoms that once existed in this country.

I guess the media's narrative of the convoy and it’s supporters being just be a group of racist, white supremist mouth breathers needs to be re-examined.

On a more sinister note a friend of mine on the other side of the county told me about a news story he’d heard that nasty folks are inserting names of people they have beefs with on the lists to settle scores. I do not want to believe that but nothing surprises me these days.
