I was reading about her determination to get back to normal like after losing the arm and discovering she couldn't button clothes with one hand. Made me recall trying to buttom my pants when my left arm was in a sling. Finally ended up with a coat hanger stretched out and closed in a closet door with the hook pulling the button hole toward the right while I moved the other side left to button them. I had to do that for a couple weeks. She just adapted by not wearing clothes with buttons. Tough girl!
