This Isn't China: What the IRS Will Soon Require of Those Accessing Tax Info Has Critics Sounding the Alarm
It's such a shame the IRS is a privately owned and operated corporation, otherwise the sharing of personal medical and biometric data might be considered a legitimate requirement typically accessed between a person and the government. Of course, the line between corporations and government these days is so blurred, it comes as no surprise to see so much confusion.
Couldn't you just go to your accountant/ tax preparer and let him/her deal with it? Plus, how often do most of us deal directly with the IRS, it's usually not a good idea.
Again, let your accountant deal with it! I was in business with my Father for 30 years, plus 5 more on my own, and we NEVER dealt with the taxman (Feds or State) ourselves. That is how you get into BIG trouble! Just say the wrong thing and before you can hang-up the phone armed agents are breaking down the door! Better to let a dispassionate professional handle the problem.
@Wildbilly Unfortunately, the tax man don't deal with the Federal Student Aid system. It used to be that you filled out this gargantuan paper document. Now it's an electronic form only that then has you access the IRS system to import your and your childs IRS accounts ... also electronically. No option for a third party to complete it for you. parent and student on the hook for this baby.

There are some razzle dazzle glasses on the market that hide your most identifiable features (the junction of your nose and eyes) by use of reflective materials, lights and sear bulk. Also, facial hair, real or fake) can hide your upper lip and jaw line, and let's not forget about the ears, which are almost as unique as fingerprints...cover them. Your walk can also be used to identify you, so slip a pebble into your shoe or add some height to only one heel of a shoe to create a limp. Where there is a way there is a will to get around it!
