Starting this summer, creating an account on the IRS website will require a photo of your government identification as well as a video for facial recognition purposes to be submitted to a third-party company. According to CNBC, an account with the government contractor, ID.me, will not be required to pay taxes. “The IRS emphasizes taxpayers can pay or file their taxes without submitting a selfie or other information to a third-party identity verification company,” the agency said in a statement. “Tax payments can be made from a bank account, by credit card or by other means without the use of facial recognition technology or registering for an account.” Don’t run to thank the taxman yet — your personal biometrics must be handed over to access functions on the IRS website. Without this access, taxpayers may not be able to see their tax transcripts or check on payment agreements. Even applying for a payment plan, creating a security PIN and viewing stimulus check status will be impossible without the personal data. If this unsettles you, it gets worse. The government’s need to know everything about you, down to the minor contours of your face, isn’t going away any time soon, it seems. Taxpayers and others are being warned to create an account soon. The service is expected to grow and become a requirement for many other applications. Unfortunately, a government contract and no competition do not appear to be the best incubator for a quality product. Major problems have already been reported with the system that could seriously hurt people’s finances. Many have faced issues getting their identity verified. Some have had to wait for months while verification takes place. While waiting for this to happen, services like unemployment payments are not provided to the person entitled to them. The company asserts that there are remedies for these problems, including video calls with “trusted referees,” employees able to connect with citizens to work out issues. Regardless of any issues, it looks like this verification system will only become a more integral part of the government and force ordinary people to go above and beyond to prove their identity. Yeah, that's only if you want to submit and access your account electronically. I'm going to print out my return all 50 pages of it and mail that sucker in. If i have to contact them, it's going to be by mail or phone and when they say just use the online portal I'm going to claim i'm a luddite without internet connection. I'm getting to an age where that might actually be a plausible excuse. It's also worse because they are using a third party that probably has immunity from data breaches. It is not like there haven't been data breaches where biometric data is stored. Clearly, they are 'never' going to be a target. Yeah, nah. I identify as non-compliant.

Strangely, I just finished reading Sinclair's "It Can't Happen Here" and I read ALL of Kurt Schlichter's "Kelly Turnbull" SERIES because it's like taking a snapshot of the future. Did you hear that the Air Force, our Air Force, put out that Commanders may now list their preferred pronouns in the name section of documentation? I almost vomited on myself. Whose stupid idea was that? BTW It was a short article in FOX a few weeks ago...sickens me. Watched a bit of enloopious posted video....if the government has an Achilles heel, taxes is it. I suppose that if the nation rose up and refused to pay, they would still just print and borrow the money but by doing so inflation would rocket and it would break the country.

We have lost this country long ago and now they simply and slowly work towards totally enslaving us. EDIT: I honestly didn't know that no law existed about taxes on wages and labor. I think I am done. I just wrote my niece and told her not to file for the greencard lottery. By the time she gets here this place will be worse than it is now and soon there will be a war and depending on outcome mean if its better or worse but the odds are very much against it being better. Screw this place. Land of the Free my backside.
Here is the big secret that nobody gets because we are all brainwashed: We are already free. Where you live doesn't matter. What anyone else says doesn't matter. You can do anything you want right now. You don't need anyone else's permission to do it. Don't want to pay taxes? Then don't. don't want to sign up for the draft? Then don't. Don't want to go to war, don't want to get a license to do what ever, don't want to work your entire life away to have nothing? Don't do any of it. We are all free and can do what ever it is that we want. It wont work if you are trying to fit those goals into the world of big brother. You have to walk away from it all. We can do these things, we just need to change our perception of the world. You would be absolutely amazed at how many people have already started. According to the fedgov something like 60% of the US doesn't pay any taxes. If you READ the tax code it actually says in it that the tax law only applies to people who pay them. There are also a lot of people who have walked away and built houses in the wild. This is going on in CO right now as well as many other places. What about money? We are seeing people, and now countries, stop using fiat currency. El Salvador has now made Bitcoin its official currency and there are 4 others putting that into effect. As soon as that happens it is going to be a race not to be last and BTC is private. It can't be tracked. If you want a solution all you have to do is have the courage, creativity, and motivation to do it!
Well they have had shit bags "from overseas" stealing people's tax returns a few years ago. But adding your driver's license number to your tax return seems to have stopped that.
A$$holes are like fingerprints, every one is unique. And therefore a biometric identifier. That will be the only picture I will send.
