I will never understand why anyone will fight tooth and nail over pennies, using any underhanded tactics imaginable, when one can concentrate on getting the dollars in a legitimate manner . Mexico has a fabulous amount of resources, and could easily outstrip the US, but are more interested in self-serving dishonesty than being a competitive businessman
Am I saying we in the USA are paragons of virtue? No, we are greatly in need of improvement. However, we are far better off an Mexico in this respect.

I think "the will to change', is a little simplistic as an explanation as to why the Nations in Africa are not united.

Differences in religion, ethnicity, culture, economics, political structures, and so forth, all contribute to not being unified into the one geo-political entity. Africa will never be united the entire continent is made up of tribal clans loyal to the "big chief" I have often wondered why American blacks are always connecting with Africa and how they complain their ancestors were forcibly removed--- so why they don' get an advanced education and go back to Africa and make a difference. Guess it is easier to complain and play the victim card.
