Two views of the Rittenhouse verdict

Listening to NPR ("Keep your friends close...") on the way home from work yesterday I heard Bishop Tavis Grant - the national field director for the Rainbow Push Coalition - giving his opinion.

"So this jury and this judge and this court and many of you in the media saw and heard for yourselves unprecedented rulings, unprecedented bias, unprecedented actions that gave this defendant the kind of leverage and liberty that brought about this verdict."

Amen! I heard all that too. In my opinion it was ALLERGIES due to the prosecution trying to push a false agenda. They failed, got slapped down repeatedly, upset their media cheerleaders and made the whole trial more difficult than it ever should've been.

Don't like it? Don't whack armed citizens with skateboards and don't point guns at people. Lots of things I don't like. Never threw a brick, got in the way of people going to work or set a business on fire. Why? Because it's childish, likely to get me shot, and does nothing to advance my side of the argument.

So, amusingly, the riot squad quit in Portland. Antifa figured out why that's a problem day one. This is the first riot we've had since the squad quit because those idiots got out on the street the day after the riot squad was no longer there to protect their sorry arses. I've heard that most areas of downtown, the proud boy guys just gave the antifa guys a beat down. With no one to arrest them, suddenly antifa was unprotected. Without one sided justice, antifa gets clobbered every time. This is why we don't have issues with riots one hour away from Portland in any direction. May God have mercy on your soul if you try to burn down a building in our town because no one cares about your politics and everyone is armed.

 

Anyone else get the feeling, that the author of the MSNBC piece would only be happy, if Kyle was a young black man, who had shot and killed white protesters?

 

the judge probably would have if it was the court practice to return seized property instantly on the final decision - Kyle will get notice to retrieve it - he's all legal in WI - he's claiming WI residency ....

I personally hope that a gun ownership advocate group buys it from Kyle - puts it on tour with a showing admission of a few bucks toward a 2A defense fund - have the showing venue timed with a 2a support candidate political speak ...
