There should be a massive strike and bring this country to it's knees for a week in protest of Bidumb the insane illegal regime. truckers shut down, trains shut down, oil, gas, etc production shut down, teamsters shut down the ports, union workers shut down. !0 months of Bidumb is more than enough.

 

Some of the older monkeys may remember when I was down in Belize City and they had a general strike. I was there on a salvage job at Lighthouse reef and flew back into Belize City to call in the support needed to lighter a cargo ship stuck out on the reef. They dumped trucks of dirt on both bridges entering town, shut down the utilities, closed the stores, bars, everything. I was staying at the Hilton where they had their own generators and satellite internet so wasn't inconvenienced. There was zero violence, it was a peaceful protest. Street parties were everywhere. The people were not angry, they were making a point and they made it. They shut everything down, airports, taxi service, hospitals, electricity, water, everything.

 

This would be GREAT! But, dream on.... Americans? Are you kidding me?

Americans cannot do anything in a group focused fashion because we're so focused on the individual, ourselves, which is one of the reasons that the damn government gets away with murder, thief, even child abuse. We're so damn concerned about individual rights that we allow even extremely small minorities to rule and ruin us, go outside of the law, even take a person's livelihood and trample their faith and freedoms.

Nope. Not going to happen... Every one/group would want to lead. Every one/group would have a different agenda. Every one/group would want what is best for them not for the entire group, the country.

Would I like to see it? You bet! Would I support it? Damn right I would! Frankly, it could change the country overnight. Hell, look at the unions and what they can accomplish then multiple that a 1000 times. But, I believe it as much as I do in the Easter Bunny.

This has been our weakness, our Achilles heel for ages, our inability to come together as a collective under one voice saying, "No!" or in this case, "Enough!"

 

Without trucks moving companies can't move their goods

 

Never happen! COuple years ago, a bunch of truckers shut down the I-5 in Cali, all it took was a bunch of CHP officers to get things moving again, didn't do anything but piss off a bunch of karens late for soccer practice and got a bunch of really bad press, those truckers would never do that again!

 

Stopping on the road to block traffic will upset a bunch of folks. Not showing up to work and not being on the road for 5 days will get everyone’s attention. No food, no gas, no stuff - couple that with radio/TV spots on government taking away freedoms… call your legislators and demand secure borders and no mandates… I can see possibilities.

 

Paris truck strikes worked pretty darn good back in the summer or 1990 or so.

 

National sick out. I like that much better than clogging traffic.

If i were a nefarious person, I would hire a group of individuals to foment strife and anger in a populace of a nation that i'd like to see collapse.
That group would beat drums, create division in that country, create events that i nor they would attend but create accounts saying 'Hell yeah , i'm in and i'm bringing a gun, baseball bat, baton, taser, riot shield. Who's with me?? !!'
Just keep it going and then on the day take it up a notch and say 'Come to the front, the cops are beating us, we need help'
