The video below is pretty raw. It's reality, and it's not sugar-coated. A pervert tried to steal a child. The mother was fast & determined. She was also very, very, lucky. If the passenger window hadn't been down, she would not have been able to save her child. If she had been armed, luck would not have been the deciding factor. She could have shot the kidnapper dead. As she should have. If I had been there, I'd have put half a mag into him without a second thought. One of the most important aspects of carrying a weapon is the ability to defend a weaker third party. To not carry a weapon may be to condemn a defenseless victim to death. Something could happen any day of the week that literally demands you act--if you're a human being. If you live long enough, that day is 100% certain to come. I think it's worth carrying a kilo of useless iron around for forty years. The day will come, sooner or later, when it stops being useless. Children are abducted, every day, just as fast an unexpectedly as this video shows. It's a shame the perv wasn't bleeding to death as he drove away. They do have some clear pics of him, at least. They know what he looks like. Maybe they'll find him fast enough... https://rense.com/general96/abducted.mp4
I would say it is getting crazy out there but it has always been crazy out there. So I will just say it is getting a hell of a lot more crazy out there.
If i'm awake and breathing, I'm carrying! I spent most of my youth in nasty not nice places surrounded by humans who had no appreciation for life, those humans didn't bat an eye while sticking a knife into you just to steal your cigarettes' or your wallet! They took what they wanted when they wanted, and would keep taking until some one stood their ground and fought them off, usually with a blade or other tools, most of these places guns were verboten! I carried my service M-9 under my jacket, tucked in my belt mexican carry style, and I got very used to having it there. Several times, I had to draw that Beretta to stop a would be attacker, and never fired a shot, Amazing the instant respect you command with out saying a word!
I have never pulled a weapon on anyone without using it. I do not use a weapon to threaten or intimidate, but I will use it to defend my life and property.
NYPD busts suspect in attempted kidnapping of boy on Queens street in caught-on-video crime got the creep and he is in the can
But its Naw Yawk. Likely be no-bond bail and out before the week passes. In some parts of the US, this would be seen as a good thing - bad for the creep tho....
