I have not seen any. But a member of a different forum posted seeing them in Missouri, but they were not going door to door. They, reportedly, set up a 10x10 sun shade and moved down the street every few hours.

Well had one visit today, that ignored the no trespassing signs and a chained gate, that was not locked since Mrs T5R went to her office today. Slipped in while I was under the box truck giving it a grease job and Poo and Pop were left inside to avoid them having grease from under the truck all over their backs and TBH they are PITA when I am laying under a truck or trailer trying to work. So he got in undetected.

What I learned in our very brief discussion as I was escorting him back out the gate. He is working for some not for profit out fit called the Rural Vaccination Initiative that is funded with State and Federal Grants. In their training they are instructed to ignore no trespassing signs, closed and even locked gates and to carry bear spray for dogs and overly hostile citizens. Yes they have list of who is fully vaccinates, who is only one of two shot vaccinated and who is not vaccinated complete with addresses and some phone numbers and email addys, I helped him accidently drop his clip board and picked it up for him and was able to thumb through about 5 pages before he snatched it back. He started his greeting with "I see here you have not been vaccinated."

Just came in after getting rid of the guy and have been searching for anything resembling the RURAL VACCINATION INITIATIVE. Yep they are real and popping up all over the Nation. A bit different names for each but all State Fed funded through grants and all with the same objective.

So they've been instructed to ignore No Soliciting signs, so I think I'll put up a No Trespassing sign.
They can't ignore that without consequences.

 

The feds can know who has/hasn't been vaccinated and find the personnel to go door to door, but the SOBs can't seem to process my tax refund after 2 1/2 months.

 

According the one that was here a bit ago they are instructed in their *training* That no trespassing signs and laws do not apply to them because this is a public health emergency. I tried getting information out of him like What Agency Was Giving them their trainings, who the training instructors are, where the training are given, who is your supervisor and who is your supervisors supervisor, Can I have contact information for the office you operate out of and its location. Best I got was a black and white business card with the RVI name and a 888 number that goes to a recording that tells you nothing, gives no info or options and hangs up on you. Starting to think it is time to electrify the gates again with the fence chargers

 

Hmm, so the only tactic left is to not answer the door?

 

Funny that you mention that..... my good neighbor from up the road is sitting here beside me raising holy hell about his visit with the same guy. He was taking a nap on his couch and a knock on the door, before he could get up and to the door the guy opened and stuck his head in and yelled HELLO is anyone home. Time to have some beers calm down and talk about this and how to prevent it in the future.

 

There is how it should be and then there is reality. A large County, 1 sheriff 2 deputies and a average 40 minute response time, longer if it is not an emergency. So anything that happens is long done and over with before any LEO arrives. A life or death emergency they might get out here in 20-25 minutes depending on where the one on duty is at the time of the call. Which is great response time compared to 1 hour 37 minutes for the fire department and 2 hours 12 minutes for an ambulance.

I open carry a hog leg at all times on the farm, I think that helped a lot with his motivation to leave. I actually wanted some discussion if not the covid sales pitch. You have nothing to gain and everything to lose from engaging with these people. Be polite and do not threaten, but give them nothing. Better still, don't answer the door.

This clearly instructs them to obey No Trespassing signs.

If some thing happens to one of these people on your property , it could be determined as premeditated by what you post here and other sites. They are checking your social media posts when they think you have committed a crime.
