No but it can make Banking Web Sites either not load, or load very very slow…. and if you can NOT access your Banks Web Site, then you have to make an IN PERSON Appearance, during business hours, to deal with your money…. Think about it…. and if your bank is on the other side of the state or country, then what?

I always have cash at the primary and at the BOL as well. Stopped at one gas station several years ago that couldn't accept credit or debit because their internet connection was down. It was the only one in 40 miles. Fortunately I had cash for fuel.
yup I was on a trip around 2300. Major storm hit and if I'd not had cash I would have sat in a Parking lot of cars waiting for sunrise and plastic to work. Instead at sunrise I was fast asleep in my bed.
