I got all that but I had to sign my life away and then the VA reneged on the agreement. Just because I could not prove the Lat and Lon of our cruise into Nam waters. Why? Well they destroyed all our "cruise records" and denied Agent Orange exposure. So my ills were not service connected. WHY? Well we were sent on "Special Operations" aka Top Secrete Task. But they missed the DD215 with the Nam medal and three stars. And the Pay Records without Income Tax. Why is it the US Ignores the facts that would earn a BCD to a Vet , but when it comes to Dems every thing is rosy?

VA denied A/O related. Odd how siblings and parents never had any skin cancers of any kind but then again they never went to Nam

Yup signed the papers to enlist with the promise that I would be taken care of ( not that I had much faith in that promise having grown up around Vietnam vets) but still, got shot to hell and almost lost my leg, and have been fighting to keep it since, going on 20 years now! I was never denied care but it's taken a lot of paperwork and a lot of back and forth between my doctor's and the VA to get things cleared and happening when it's needed, and it's never done in time, so I have to pay out of pocket and then fight tooth and nail to get paid back! This last go around, I had to give up a bunch of veins in my good leg and both arms to repair and replace the bad ones on my not so good leg! I look like a bad medical experiment gone wrong, but I get to keep my leg!
