Any Positive Aspects of Inflation?

You know I hate to point it out but when I made the post saying that right now was the best time to buy BTC it has gone up 10% since.

 

I dare say that the value doesn't change, but the medium of exchange is altered affecting perception of value. Your example house is exactly the same as it was, but the amount of medium needed to get it has.

 

Yeah absolutely. Of course its still the same house. What we are fighting for is to keep from losing money via inflation and printing since it is the current medium of exchange. Since it is a currency we are using in this case and not real money, we must keep it moving in the constant game of money and currency or it dies. Just look at the value of a penny. Would any government create them today? they are completely worthless. Regardless we are all playing that game whether we want to or not. We don't really get a choice unless we can do our purchasing with gold, silver, or bitcoin. For me, I wouldn't want to spend my gold and silver because I know the prices are suppressed by market manipulation. Since the market and dollar were designed to crash I know the value of gold and silver will some day return to normal. Hopefully I see it but I am prepared to pass on all of my assets to my kids.

For me, I really didn't want to play this game. I wanted a dollar to be worth a dollar forever. I don't like lies and theft. Unfortunately none of us really gets that choice. In a properly run society the price of goods should actually go down as innovation makes things cheaper and easier to produce. That is the secret that the bankers learned long ago and used the value to steal from people with inflation. While prices are going down due to new innovations they are raising inflation making those prices go up. That is theft right out of everyone's pockets. Its a slick move and even today with all of the worlds knowledge at our fingertips there are still MASSES of people who don't get it. they still don't see how inflation and money printing takes money out of their pockets. Its not really fair that I have to play by their rules but this is the game. I'm just surprised by how many people are willing to play it.

 

I've known for a long time the government has been cooking the books on inflation --Why because SS payments are tied to the inflation rate if the government can say no inflation SS does not get a cola increase. However I was listening to a talk show discus inflation and if it were still calculated as it was during the Reagan administration the true inflation rate would be 10% and climbing. They were saying Dollar General Stores plan on opening 2200 new stores in the coming year and the demand is there --another indication inflation is here big time--- people can't even afford Wally World because of prices rising. Bidumb is destroying this once great country

 

I actually don't think it's Biden that's destroying the country. It's the banks.
targeted inflation rates (theft), give free money to friends, blocking access to capital to those you don't like.
Doesn't matter in most cases who sits in the big chair in DC because in 4 years they can be replaced with someone that is less problematic (think trump) to them with like well anyone.

It's the long game. steal a little bit at a time, no one will notice. But now that we are noticing, it's a problem for them. Also, it appears that then end of the game has almost arrived. Going to be interesting how this one is going to turn out.

Gas lines, double digit inflation, high unemployment, Iran making trouble, Democrats in control of both houses and the Presidency... Just like the late 70's except I don't feel like a teenager anymore. At least I had respect for Carter as a person.

 

Got gas yesterday not even thinking about gas shortage but sure as shit both stations in town out of gas. How I remember the gas shortage of the 70's. Can't help but think Trump would have jumped on this immediately and solved the problem ----so where is Bidumb --hiding in his basement

Just heard a economist on Fox predict the compound rate of inflation could be as high as 21% in 2021. Jimmy Carter all over again.

 

That is significant because the way they calculate inflation now is different than during the Carter years. 21% would today would be much higher under the old way of calculating inflation. Either way we a screwed
