    My youngest being pinned by her grandfather after receiving her BSN.
    She could not score high enough on the SAT’s to get into ANY college. She had to start in a community technical school and work her way up through shear determination based on her grades. She finished Nursing School with only one “C” and starts Monday in the ER of a local hospital. I did not wish her luck. She makes her own.

    @T. Riley She is so impressive. I would rather have a nurse like her that wanted to be a nurse enough to work for it than someone who school came easy too. It really speaks to her where her heart is. Someone like your Daughter will save more people than any doctor because her vocation comes from her heart.

    From AlaskaChick RN.... Use soap & Water, sanitizer, and latex gloves, prodigiously, and often, while at work... best advice she ever got on her first day at work as an RN, 30+ years ago....

    We used to know how to design buildings that would stay cool in the Carolina summer and could be heated with wood or coal in winter. The cupola on this one was sealed off when central air was added, but hot air still rises, always will. That chimney hasn't seen smoke in many moons, as can be seen by the tree growing out of the top.

    I'll have to wait to see this on a larger screen, but there are hundreds of bees working the flowers on my fruit trees. A beautiful sight to see.
