Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

I had a big ice machine right outside my office (cave) at Cherry Point. My daily commuter was a 1970 Datsun 510. I'd pull the wipers off, remove the cowl cover, pour ice into the cavity where the wipers and air inlet system was, and then put the cowl cover back on. I had nice cool air on the hottest Eastern North Carolina summer days, and by the time all the ice had melted the sun was setting and it was cooling off anyway. The melted ice water just ran out the cowl drains. I still have that car on the remote lot somewhere.

 

This is a bit out of season, but it works for the bug man, the alarm salesman, stray dogs, and even the neighbors cat.

 

Kids don't need internet/phones. They need imagination.



Anybody remember great stories around a camp fire?

 

Cute, but with fewer residents on the islands they're having bear issues. Hey, the bears were there first.
