    Today was my first day actually walking around the neighborhood... I got five weeks to get myself solidly Two Foot Mobile again, after a year of mostly house & Vehicle bound...I made it about 200 yards, in 15 minutes or so, with AlaskaChick walking beside me... Good thing as I might have just keeled over somewhere on the block.. I did tale my Passport and Cellphone. with me and made sure the internal GPS was tracking my location, so if i did keel over my Son, the ParaMedic, could come pickup my remains and drag it to the Coroner’s Office, for the autopsy... Alas, I made it the whole way using my Walking Stick.. Yea, I need that for Balance and it provides some Security, against the neighborhood Squirrel Gangs, and other furry creatures..

    I have an old .44 walking cane somewhere, it belonged to my first ex-wife's grand Father, Col. Mac Harper. He looked just like Col. Sanders so much that every time I saw his picture, I wanted some of that original coleslaw. Hey Bruce, it's a C&R, but is it still a NFA any other weapon? It was made in 1902?

    Glad you made some progress today.
    Kind of strange,, I ended up back on my crutches today ,,hopefully tomorrow will be better for the both of us.

    Good that you're venturing out into the open and getting some exercise...sunlight, fresh air and vistas that don't end at your four walls has to be good for the spirit and good for building up strength and your immune system. You're a sensible man, so I trust that you won't overtax yourself along the road to rehabilitation. (y)

    Same here started rehab for knee replacement last March had no rehab due to covid got my shots now so starting. Know the feeling of not being able to walk

    Good to hear Bruce. I started mine back in Aug and until they had to go back in. Started fresh last month. I can walk about 300 feet before I need to set down. They say the range of motion will never be the same and looks like I'll have no problem getting pain meds for life, but it could be worse. Keep with your program and I'm sure you'll be back in it in no time!
