I have questions maybe some of you guys can answer. I have been looking at small acreage lots around Springfield and lake of the ozarks area. Colorado land is too expensive. NM land is very dry or too expensive. I have a nice place in the high desert mts north of pie town. The area is full of little 5-60 acre properties. It is a great area, its the top of the Gila wilderness. But j am looking for a second place and the green of Missouri looks very inviting. It would be a contingency property, a back up and is within days drive. Any insight any of you might have would be helpful. Thanks
LoO is or can be high dollar, I know a real-estate agent who did more than one Million dollar year there. Not in sales but in profits. If you want good land then look around Nevada, Mo or Fort Scott Kansas. Taxes are less in Kansas. If I did not have this land then I would be in that area.
no building permits here in MO. lots of water far from large cities and the people here all ready work together not much snow
personal property taxes are bad. Lived here most of my life and still do. But have and are looking for more options.
Alaska has no Property Taxes for Seniors who have less than $150,000 in assessed Value... And they give Seniors Free Sport Hunting, Fishing, and Trapping Licenses for life.. Plus the PFD (Oil Money)... and a Vehicle License Plate with No Registration Fee for life... All you gots to do is like the COLD....
I wish all states did that. The states have already extracted their pounds of flesh outta those that make it to old age.
