    • I buy every lee loaders I find reasonably priced. I have shotgun kits from 410 to 10 gauge including 28 ga. In reality you can load shotguns shells with a punch to knock out the primer a dowel rod and a half inch hexnut . Go to ballistic products and order over powder cards, cushion wads and over shot cards for every shotgun you have also buy a lee scoop set. I have a lee key drive slug mold that works well

The Prime All compound is the old H48 mixture and way over priced. I bought three packets of that stuff which ran over $60 dollars.

H48 is made up of potassium nitrate, antimony trisulfide, sulfur and ground glass. Go to Ardvark reloading for more detailed info.

I also bought the 22lr reloader, was not happy with the cast bullets. Spent $130 fo a 22lr 30 gr. healed mold from Old West Bullets. Lyman also made a healed 22lr mold which you can find used on eBay.

I buy up all the old Lee and Lyman moulds and hand loaders I can find, as well as most other brands of moulds and powder grinders!
I have a large collection of custom made moulds I had made for my rifles over the years, and they all work wonderfully!
Had made a few custom moulds that allow me to make precise Paper Sabots from .277 on up through .375 for use in .44 through .54 Caliber black powder rifles!
O.P, Can you post links to some of those moulds in the second set of photos, would be very interested in some of those hollow point/hollow base moulds!

Have you used any of that stuff?
Now, about 95% of my metallic cased ammo is reloads. I'm going to dust off the old bullet molds and start making bullets again.

I got some pime all to use as a control so I know what the shit that works is supposed to look like. The main ingredients were ground to dust.
H48 uses potassium chlorate, that's why it's corrosive. You can get a pound of it for like $10 on skylighter dot com, $10 buys lots of antimony sulfide also since it's a naturally occurring mineral some places, same with sulfur.

As for 22lr, I will not reprime/reload. You can get primed 22lr cases(when in stock) from Fed Arms,.22LR Primed New Casings (2,000 ct pack) | FedArm

I just started to load tune using various fast burning pistol powders. The starting charge for these is .08-1gr. Never go above 1.5 grains per charge. I have a mold that cast 30gr. healed bullets from Old Western Molds. I will be doing a rang report on this concept, The test rifle will be a CZ 457 MTR rifle with a Vortex 5-25x54 Strike Eagle scope, so stay tuned for that starting April.

Titegroup, Trail Boss, Universal Clays, W231, Bullseye, and Unique. These are all in the fast burning category of pistol propellants. I cannot and will not say what the max charge is because I do not have a device for measuring the pressures of these handloads, plus, there is no way of just using your eyes to see that you have exceeded max pressures like you can on center fire cartridges.

I just use the 1.5gr. max charge for my own safety, if they do not reach factory velocities, then they don’t. With bench rest grade 22lr ammo selling from $100-$300 per brick before the madness hit last year, I load these for pure accuaracy only.

I did buy a 22lr resizing die just for the shell holder. With just the few batches I have cast the bullets and loaded, a Lee .225 resizing bullet die will put a uniform crimp on the case and seated bullet. This is the shell holder/resizing die,.22LR Shell Holder & Die Reloading Kit | FedArm, and this is the Lee .225 resizing die,Lee Bullet Sizing Die Kit 225 Diameter

I believe 3N37 was developed specifically for 22LR, burns kind of like universal.
My guess is something like clays and bullseye would be good for pistol, something a bit slower like unique and W231 might be better for rifes.
When the case ruptures or you get bad ass velocity it's time to back off.

The Airgun pellets I load into a brass 410.ga shotgun shell with wad over the powder with bullet is push into the case by hand with a light tap with a wood dowel rod down into the shell .Then unit is lightly glued into place by crafters glue on the ends to keep it from falling out

Everything I have there fits into a plastic tote with slugs and bullets and powders in another plastic tote .So the basic idea if need to add fresh meat to the locker it a simple as choosing the caliber and loading a few rounds and go out the area to hunt

No need to go our and hunt, if you plan right... Plant fruit trees in the yard, and let the animals come to you...

I have close to fifteen deer in my yard every nite. Also have chickens, guineas, possums and a few coons,I will not get hungry. But would be nice to have fruit trees but for the deer. You know it’s funny when deer season opens the deer are nowhere to be seen.

    The deer know.
But if you can get a fruit tree that drops it's goods during deer season, assuming you live some where that doesn't allow baiting and feeding, then you are guaranteed to bag your limit and barely have to get off your ass.

When I was a kid, I spent Opening Day of Deer Season at my GodFathers 160 acre Place out by Yelm, Wa... He had a small Cabin next to an Apple Orchard in the middle of 40 acres of grass Fields... I got my deer, each season, with my Winchester 69A (.22LR) with a single shot, and at less than 75’... until I turned 18 years old. and moved away to college... We would sit on the front porch of the cabin, in lawn chairs, and wait for the deer to come nibble on the Apples, under the trees... Pick out the one I wanted, and the used a Head Shot... Bang—- Flop, and haul the carcass off to the barn to Hang & Gut... Then drop it off on Sunday afternoon, on our way home, at Stewart’s Meats in McKenna, Wa. to have it Cut & Wrapped, to be picked up the following weekend, when we were down there for Ducks... Ah, the good old. days...
