I'm just another newbie still trying to learn new words... what's a "gen set?"

Gen-set, or Genny as some of us call them, are a Generator we use to power our homes or other things as needed! Some are portable, some are not!

 

Yep, and all of them use some kind of fuel to make the engine spin the generator end.

Except that there is one vendor out there that insists on calling its product a "generator" when in fact it is one fancy battery box.

Welcome @Yad Tsalach from the Mountain INW. Gen sets would be on many minds , given the recent weather evens. They can be handy, until they don't work when needed.

 

A Gin Set is a summer time sport played on the clay courts at the country club, welcome.

 

I like mine with tonic and a slice of lime, Its a southern thing !
