His buddy and mega donation guy Warren buffet was going to lose billions of dollars in rail shipping contracts to the pipeline.
It's under the guise of "saving the planet", but no one has been able to explain how shipping oil by train, where it's 10x more likely to spill is better for thr environment than a pipeline.

Just did a quick search not all indigenous tribes are against the pipeline many invested in it and stood to make millions on property taxes and employment. Facts are pipelines generate far less greenhouse gases compared to truck and rail transport of oil. Buffet/Bidumb back room deal

    And......................
Lets not forget such a decision hurts our neighbors to the north bigly! This move has cost hundreds of thousands of jobs, not just the pipe line builders and all those so called Union jobs, but everything else that supports this effort! Trucking and Rail be dammed, Alaska has proven what a well built and maintained pipeline is capable of! No, this is a buddy deal that buddy fucks the people, those whom Bidit promised would have good jobs! And...............
that assholes snide coment about "get a job making solar panels" was a kick to the nuts, most ( Like 99%) of our solar comes from,...........Wait for it,...........................Fucking CHINA!!!!!! Now, who do you think is gonna make a bunch of money building solar?
Yea, Fucking CHINA! And,.............all those promised jobs, all going to overseas companies, like always!
Green energy, I think not, there is nothing green about any of that bulshit, NOTHING, look what it takes/costs to recycle most of that garbage, and with things moving so quickly in tech. developement, that stuff is ony good for a few years before it's outdated and needs to be replaced! Old Pedo Joe needs to go Shit in his hat and bark at the moon, and step down so the big boys can get to work fixing things right! Kamal Toe needs to STFU and dry up and go away too, she ain't nuffin but a bag of hot, bad gass!

Yup, Canada was so Pissed Off, the shut down all CattleCar (Cruise) Ships can land on their West Coast and Inside Passage Ports for the next 12 months... No Foreign Flagged Ships can go from a Washington Port to an Alaskan Port without a stop in Canada which they will not allow... So no Alaska Cruise Ships to Alaska this summer.. It is called the Jones Act, and it is supposed to save American Jobs.. Only problem is there are NOT any American Flagged Cruise Ships on the Alaska Summer Run, so no union jobs that need protecting... Duh...

I remember when Odumbo was in office and the Keystone Pipeline was cancelled the Chicoms were offering to build a port on the west coast of Canada if a pipeline was built the Chicoms would ship the oil to China. Would not be a bit surprised if this does not happen under Trudeau if Bidumb doesn't pull his head out of his butt

Tribes ask new president to direct Army Corps of Engineers to review process

    Indian Country Today

Emboldened by President Joe Biden’s action to rescind former President Donald Trump’s presidential permit to the Keystone XL pipeline project, leaders of four Sioux tribes are requesting Biden take action on the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline.

Leaders of the Yankton Sioux Tribe, Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, Oglala Sioux Tribe and the Standing Rock Tribe sent a letter to Biden on Tuesday requesting he take quick and decisive action on the Dakota Access Pipeline within the first 10 days of his administration.

A copy of the four-page letter is posted on the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s Facebook page.

The leaders want Biden to instruct the Army Corps of Engineers to stop the flow of oil through the pipeline.

In the letter, leaders write that in 2016, under the Obama administration, the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works halted the process for issuing an easement to the Dakota Access Pipeline to cross Lake Oahe until the Army Corps of Engineers prepared an environment review.

In January 2017, Trump reversed the decision and rushed through an easement for the pipeline.

In 2020, however, the tribes prevailed and a federal court ruled that the Army Corps of Engineers violated the National Environmental Protection Act by failing to conduct the environmental study before granting an easement.

    (Related: Canceling pipelines presents challenges)

Although the court ordered the company to cease operations until the corps completed its review, the Trump administration obtained a temporary stay of the court’s shutdown order.

In their, the four tribal leaders ask Biden to:

    1. Instruct the corps to stop continued operation of the pipeline since it currently has no easement.

    2. Instruct the Justice Department to withdraw the appeal of the federal court decision to shut down the pipeline during the determining process)

    3. Withdraw Trump’s 2017 presidential memorandum regarding construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline

    4. Instruct the Army Corps of Engineers to robustly follow the National Environmental Protection Act process with meaningful nation-to-nation consultation with tribes and scrutiny of alternatives including no more pipeline

    5. Instruct the Interior Department to reinstate the 2016 Solicitor of the Interior opinion “Tribal treaty and environmental statutory implications of the Dakota Access Pipeline.” The opinion was withdrawn during the Trump administration.

According to the letter, tribal leaders realize that the Army Corps may still grant the easement to the pipeline company. However, they state they all strongly oppose granting the easement on the grounds that the pipeline poses a threat to drinking water, hunting and fishing and ceremonies.

The leaders further explain how the Fort Laramie Treaty of 1868 permanently guarantees a substantial portion of the Great Plains for the absolute and undisturbed use and occupation of the Sioux. They also note that the tribes hold senior water rights in the Missouri River guaranteed by court decisions in 1908, 1996 and 1997.

The leaders promise to contact Biden in the near future to provide more details for denial of the easement but for now request that the five named actions be undertaken immediately.

“It is beyond time for the United States to fulfill the promise that it made in the Treaties and stop the illegal trespass of our lands and waters.”

The letter is signed by Mike Faith, chairman of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Harold Frazier, Chairman of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, Kevin Killer, President of the Oglala Sioux tribe and Jason Cooke, Vice-chairman of the Yankton Sioux Tribe.

What? Pipelines across the US look like someone dropped an open pack of noodles on the floor.
I have 3- 100 yards from me, Only 1 is live, The other 2 are so old and leak like shives
    Thus 2 are abandoned pipelines.

This is intentional destruction of the country. You can profit highly while bringing a country to its knees if you are in the right position. This whole cv19 bs is just a tool. The death toll for 2019 is exactly the same as 2020. Where's the pandemic. BTW those numbers were pulled down by the fed but there are copies of them around if your googlefu is good enough.
