this is a fairly invasive bill if it ever gets out of committee in the house..

it calls for registration of all firearms, not just newly purchased ones

that means your family heirlooms and munitions within 3 months of the bill passing

    short name
Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act

    who the hell is sabika

Given Biden's intent to pack the supreme court with leftist, activist judges, and a stacked deck in all three branches, I think we're about to find out just how much a piece of paper can protect us from people who would wipe their asses with it.

Well, HR127 hasn't even gone to committee yet to see if it will go to the floor so let's not get too much into a tailspin; however, the question we should be asking is should this make it to the floor, is voted upon and passed then exactly what will be the outcome.

Will local law enforcement enforce such a Bill? Will it mean dissent so large in scale (think by state) that it's civil war? There's no clear answers. And, certainly no clear leadership from the Right - I mean - you cannot trust the Republican party as far as you can throw them, President Trump found this out the hard way.

Personally, I would bet that this HR127 will NOT even make it to the floor, it won't make it out of committee. Why? Because it pushes too hard and too fast and they know the reaction it will incur. The Leftists have been extremely smart in their planning and leadership and I truly doubt they would push this know full well the outcome. I only wish we had few as smart as these Leftwing Fascists.

So, why is it there if they won't pass it? Simple. First, it keeps the Right on edge and while their eye is on that target the Left is doing some dirty deed elsewhere.

Second, the Right is prepared for the worse with HR127 but the Bill following it will not be as bad in scope yet will continue to eat away at the 2A so the Right will accept it thinking that once again they dodged a bullet.

Third, politicians submit Bills to gain notoriety and publicity, get the cameras on them and make their name known to the public plus to instill loyalty in their base. They know it has no chance of passing

That's my 2 bits...if it makes it out of committee then we can correctly assume that they truly mean to have their way with this country no matter the cost...but I think they are too smart for that because it is too risky.

I heard something about this but haven't seen where Biden said this. Has he stated he intends to increase the size of the USSC or what? Makes me think of Caesar increasing the size of the Senate with his own cronies...

Come and Take Them!....if you can find them! That will be the problem for anyone searching for "illegal" guns and ammo. I predict that there is going to be a shortage of water-tight containers and the materials to DIY, so get yours NOW! I also predict that most LEOs are going to be less than enthusiastic when it comes to searching for guns and ammo! I also predict that there will be lots of news generated by police raids gone tragically wrong, beloved family pets being disinterred, and fire-pits and latrines being dug-up! Some people might even call police to report unusual signs of digging causing the police to respond with officers, bomb-squad, back-hoes, ground penetrating radar, etc....only to find NOTHING!

Exactly. The time to worry is if it ever gets to the floor for a vote....which it won't. There are a lot of middle of the road Democrat that won't piss off their voting base by supporting something this stupid.

What you DO have to worry about is the creeping incrementalism.....the so called 'reasonable' gun controls that get tighter and tighter over time, all in the name of being 'reasonable'. Little something slipped in here, little something there, and before you know it, they have boiled the frog.

If these antigun loons ever do make our possession of guns and ammo illegal, they had better stock up on body bags..... for those trying to take them.

As far as I'm concerned if the government decides to take guns from law abiding US citizens then all bets are off. And so are my safeties!

I have started to write my State rep-- in SC 3 counties have declared they are 2nd amendment sanctuary counties. IMO this needs to be a State wide declaration here in SC. This should be the policy in every Red state. Well over half the country is red- it would send a message to Bidumb his gun grab won't work, let the leftist blue state give up their Constitutional rights see how that works out.

Well, the one thing we can do is give serious thought NOW to what we will do to secure our firearms and ammo in the event this does happen and HR127 passed, things like obtaining a watertight/airtight solutions, where to hide them, and how to handle the fallout when we are asked to present them. I don't want to be a criminal but I could not and would not abide by this law because in my mind it is illegal.

EDIT: And, if some law abiding yokel like me won't tolerate it then I believe the Left-Fascists realize it would be going too far, too fast but...we'll see.

Yes, I see...Caesar's ploy. He cannot get rid of the judges so he stacks the court. Of course, he will do his study and have good valid reasons to do so and many experts lined up to agree with him. Man-oh-man, if he goes this far then we know it is truly over because any piece of bogus legislation will be passed then approved and carried if challenged in court - game over - 1984 come true.
